Round 3

Long round, short report.

This was a painful game to play for me. So much units micro to do, so much nice land on the other landmass and so much crappy one for us. The peaceful vassals really put a stick in my wheel.

Anyway...

Quick trade before the inevitable happens...


Ragnar did come knocking early enough.


I had to pay him some gold to end the war even though I crushed whatever he sent at me...

I teched a little bit further and went for the ultimate SoD killer.


Then it was my turn...


It took a very very long time to win from there as I had to kill Frederick and De Gaulle before he would capitulate. However, by that time he was so close to dieing I just killed him entirely.

After that I just hit enter a few times with the culture slider as high as it would go...

What a bad map! I would have liked to see the other way around. Me in Ragnar's shoes and him with my crappy island start. At least I had a strong leader to pull this game off.

Anyway... late finish, low score.
