Tom, when you direct the default of the spells to:

..\spell_CRSPELL\spell_CRSPELL.flc

Where does that file live, exactly? I've been unable to find it.

It's the Animated Spellbook.

The 1st post has (use for Default Animation) next to it, but I could leave a link on every unit. It is small enough I could also upload it to every animation, but I won't do that for the one's already put up (unless I decide to reupload them each individually to the database, not sure that is a good idea).

Speaking as an experienced modder who couldn't figure it out, it might actually be a very good idea. I realize that you have alot to do, and you've been doing it very well in my opinion, but you should also strive to make your units as user-friendly as possible, as a courtesy to those who wouldn't know an ini file if it was written on their forehead. I'd be glad to fix the files and repack them if you'd like...

I wasn't sure if it would be better to release 1 big mega-pack... otherwise the DB will be filled with 100 individual spells or more once they are all posted.

The Spell FLC is very small, so I suppose it is no problem to throw it in. It is the best thing IMO for a default animation in many circumstances. It would be nice to find a few alternatives though.

I didn't think about though, it is probably a good idea to include it. It wouldn't take too long to do.

TOM you are so prolific !!!! Sorry I haven't had time to check in on your thread for awhile. Been very busy lately. I am always amazed when I do review what you've been doing, and once again I pleasantly surprised.

I can see uses for several of your latest creations. Disease, I am going to use that to replace the existing graphic for disease, yours is so much better. Poison can be used to represent the poisonous gases used in WWI or tied to meltdown of a chemical plant.Hey I think I still have some of that anthrax or was that VX gas, oh well better go back to the weapons depot and see what's there. :D :lol:

I'm hoping to get this Fire Wall spell up that I have been working on soon.

This is the Attack1 and the Attack2 FLC's. This way the Attack1 starts the fire wall, and Attack2 will be the continuous flame.

I'm thinking of having the Default FLC as a bunch of small burning embers, and the Fortify has them gather together to form the wall (which then starts on fire shown above).
