Many more to follow.

USAAF P-80 was the operational jet fighter. Only 60 P-59’s were produced.
I have now obtained a model for the P-80.

:( I haven't played RtW for over 2 months now ... all this development work is quite draining. I so much want to play RtW but can't until I get all the coding done :(

Thanks for that. Someone else feels my pain. :D

Encouragement is fine ... that's sufficient ... for the moment.

Thanks for that ... And an update ...

I have completed the collection of new models and am working on selecting them to add to the game. Of interest will be that Minor Nations will now also have unique unit graphics as much as possible too! If a unique paintscheme is not available for the nation, I will select a Team color and if that is not available I will select a generic color (no markings) and finally if there is no other option I will use the paintscheme of producing country or neighbouring country, but as a resort.

I hoped to have it out next month ... but I have just about to start re-coding ... after collecting all the models and completing the research.

I'll post a spreadsheet soon showing all the new units and models I be adding.

thanks for that kiwitt...we are here your fans..waiting for testing ...

even with your current version i think that is the best mod of wwII for cIV.....thanks dude :goodjob:

I have now completed the selection of Unit Artwork to add to the game (see post for details). This will bring this mod inline with other WWII/Modern mods.

I will now over the next month or so start incorporating this artwork into the code.

Starting to code now ... wish me luck. I was considering going through each country individually, but I think it would make more sense to go through each unit class (see post 4) as that would be easier I think.

Generals finished and working ... Great to see Montgomery and Mannerheim.

Currently working on the design of the infantry and I have an idea.

1) Reduce the scale of the infantry to 1/2 the size (more in scale to a tank)
2) Increase the number of models to represent the number of divisions in each (e.g. a corps would have 3 and an Army 9)
3) The corps would have added a MG and one less infantry graphic
4) The Army would have artillery graphic as well as MGs

Going to do some tests to see what it will look like.

EDIT Not to bad at all.

Yes ... that is an MG.

NOTE: That is an example graphics, each major natioon and many minors nations will have unique graphics for their units.

I will also scale the tanks more accurately, i.e. the Tiger will be significantly larger than the Sherman and FT-17 (a common tank used by neutrals, even France used nearly 1,000 of them). However, I will not be combine infantry with tanks in the same unit as they just do not position themselves correctly everytime. However, infantry only divisions, corps and armies will be represented as above.
