Very strange, though I was so preoccupied with a war on the other side of the world I didn't notice when it first appeared.

Someone's privateer sailing around a landlocked city and pillaging all my improvements. As of this post, still waiting on one of my heroes to get back and sort it out :( The war really is halfway around the world from me.

Animal Spirit Guide for free

Playing as the Doviello, in a couple of different games I saw the option for the Animal Spirit Guide equipment. When I took it, it didn't cost anything, it should cost 175 gold.
 
the animal totem costs 175 gold and gives you the ability to add the spirit guide, i am looking at the code right now. (are you sure you did not brought the totem before?)

Is it intentional that drakes are beats, but dragons (except the unique ones) are not? I image it may be a balance issue, though dragons are not that tough.

Edit: And the capitulation code is definitely broken. Opponents will offer techs and cities for peace, but if you beat them down far enough ( e.g. to one city), they will flat out refuse not only
capitulation, but also peace for techs! I would volunteer to look into this, if the dll code is available somewhere.

-added hippus armor and weapon (Chataphract horse armor and war lances)
-added the spell for the mercenary contract
-moved animal spirit guide promotion to DOVIELLO_CIV4PromotionsInfos.xml
-moved false flag promotion to LANUN_CIV4PromotionsInfos.xml (newly created together with LANUN_CIV4UnitSchema.xml)
-moved mercenary promotion to HIPPUS_CIV4PromotionsInfos.xml (newly created together with HIPPUS_CIV4UnitSchema.xml)
-removed animal spirit guide, false flag and mercenary from EQUIPMENT_CIV4PromotionsInfos.xml

in the *.zip everything is in its correct order

-if you already merged the hippus weapon and armor do not merge ARMOR_CIV4Promotionsinfos.xml and WEAPON_CIV4Promotionsinfos.xml
-if you already merged the spell 'fight for an other lord' do not merge EQUIPMENT_CIV4SpellInfos.xml
(you could also simply override all those files)

Love this modmod and have been a longtime lurker. I appreciate all the hard work that has gone in this project and hope to see continued progress.

Using latest 7.55 Wild Mana, I have noticed a few missing and misspelled TXT_KEYs.

1) \assets\XML\Text\BUGHints_CIV4GameText.xml

Spoiler :
<Tag>TXT_KEY_BUB_HINT_21</Tag> should be <Tag>TXT_KEY_BUG_HINT_21</Tag>

This Text Bug Should be fixed now

Missing the following for Civ4lerts:

I just took them from the standard BUG 3.6 distribution, not sure why they were missed with the merge with Wild Mana.

I dont think I have run across any of these BUG text bugs, how did you come across these Vavdichal?

I came upon these when I installed a fresh copy of Wild Mana 7.20 and then patched to 7.55. I found that I was missing these BUG Option txt_keys from the in-game BUG configuration screens. If this is just an isolated incident with me, I will test further to see what the problem might be during installation.

So these were displayed within the BUG interface/configuration screen, not the game itself, is that correct?

If that is the case, I will probably not focus on them as hard as if they were in-game. I would suspect that they are there because there are a lot of things in development and the files themselves are incomplete. The other guys who are developing the equipment/civilization modules/etc will probably correct a number of these, once they complete their work. Someone correct me if i am wrong in this assumption.

That is correct. As far as I can tell, the aforementioned options work fine within the game.

Amurite battlemages get Law III (as the Law Mastery Leader) but tooltip for leader says they get Law II
 
Playing Wild Mana 7.55 I noticed the following issues:

- orcish beastman do not look very orcish to me
- spawn rate of werewolves from castles seems very low
- combat zoom often fails

AI:
- I killed Corlindale with a Giant Spider, he should not run around unguarded
- AI still tends to send heroes and high-lvl units around alone and into unnessesary suicide missions

- some events' impact might be too high in early stages of the game (e.g., a city seceding at turn 27)


Oh, in case you need a flying Flesh Golem, just merge it with one of your Hawks...

I will tackle the "text" bugs this evening when im done with the day job. and should be able to fix the first event, and will look into the second.
 
While playing as Scions, I noticed that the workers I captured from my neighbours were unable to build roads.

Health buildings for Scions also seems like a waste.

The Empower effect that a spellcaster with combat promotions bestows on it's summoned units, are all listed to give +10% strenght.
That is: Empower I gives +10% strenght, fine, but if you're mousing over the Empower V effect on a skeleton, it also says +10%. Shouldn't it say +50% ?
I still get the +50% bonus, though.

I recently got the Sorcery tech, so I could upgrade Alcinus. Then I discover a second Alcinus in one of my cities :confused: (No, I didn't use the WB)

Each Empower promotion grants +10% strength. So if your unit has Empower V, it must also have Empower I-IV, which leads to 5*10% strength=50% bonus.
