I dont have the map right here, but wouldnt it make more sense to build 1N of London instead of 1S, if you dont care about getting London or not? Afair that would give you 1 Fish resourse more, and two more grassland tiles? I dont understand why you wanna go 1S? Again, I dont have the map here, sorry if Im completely way off..

1N of London is also good if you don't plan to build Newcastle. It's called (somewhat appropriately since there is a forest on the dye) Nottingham. The only problem is that it's not on a river so production suffers late game due to lack of a levee.

Here's my try at alexanders empire.I also tried to settle macedon as someone (can't remember the name) mentioned it twice I tried with aege but the romans got illiria.The first screenie is the whole empire,the second one the majority (only missing egypt) with borders (thanks to the pyramids) and the third one is from egypt.I added calendar to verify the date but didn't use the dye.

I'm impressed. But you didn't have to add calendar with WB... timelines work just as well. Or you could even go to save every turn, which would tell you what year it is.

I have autosave every turn but it doesn't show me the date but (for example iron age turn 120) until I discover calendar.To tell you the truth I only added it (Calendar to verify) because the others did

I know, but in some forums it is possible to give someone reputation, like a post count, so you know exactly who is a high appreciated poster or a spammer. I don't know if it would be a great addition to Civfanatics because this can be abused easily (and since we are on international forums with people having different first languages). Thanks for clarifying.
I have finally done it! Here is my British Empire, which strecthes from Inverness to Hobart and from Vancouver to China. This time it includes the notorious Accra, Lagos, Yax Mutal, Singapore and Irak, not to forget Afganistan and Pakistan. 
Stability is decreasing due to a world war, once again started by a congress (I hate those things), but I gave away New York to stop the slide. Anyway, it is 1916 so I guess it is proper to have nice war going on. Otherwise everything is just fine. France, America, Aztec and Khmer are my vassals and UHVs were done properly. All cities except the one in the most eastern tip of Canada were taken prior to this turn, after that I vassalised France.
