Part II: The Coastal Expansion
In 1784, the general election was nail biting. The SAM party had a comfortably lead in the polls, but, due to a sex scandal he was forced to step down. The popularity of the BTP and AHP skyrocketed as a result. Dangerbird took power in the SAM and rallied them together to tighten the polls. He would end up winning the election, however a study conducted in 1791 showed that the election was fixed!!!!!!!!!!! (Turns out someone decided to PM me their votes, and I didn't count them in the election because I was unaware that they voted. If those votes counted, then the election would have been a dead tie between the SAM and their coalition, and the AHP and theirs. It was my bad).

Dangerbirds reign was controversial. Some people liked him for the constitution he wrote, the expansion he did into Quebec and Cuba. Others hated him for the Election act giving more power to the government, and the fact that he spent 3 years in office touring Europe. (The day he announced he would be away for 3 days, was the day Portugal and Netherlands offered me trades).

The early part of his term was relatively good. He funded expansions north to Labrador City and south to Guatonoma. However when he left for Pourtugal in 1789 disaster struck. A rebellion broke out in the city of Guantanamo, the Natives of Cuba claiming they had no heritage to America and demanded they left the Island. A red coat division was shipped from New York to put down the rebels. As a result a civil war broke out in America, the British and Native born citizens rebelled against the Americans wanting to become a part of the newly formed British union (Victoria adopted US in 1781). When America need him most, Danger Bird was off in Europe. leader of the BTP claims that Dangerbird prolonged his trip in Europe because he didn't want to face the crisis that had developed in his own country. However, in 1793 Danger bird returned to America and with Charismatic speeches, and using the army, the country was one again united. (The Anarchy from the civic change finished) In his final years of office he focused on developing the country, spending 820 million dollars to construct improving infrastructure across the country.

After a 200 year war, France finally defeats Spain (Half the French cities in the new world where built by Spain in the 1400's, but captured by France in the 1600's)

As in previous post, I would like to know the list of colonies of World Powers in the New Worlds (America, Oceania...)
I would also propose a de facto alliance with Russia. They do not seem interested in the Americas, we are not interested in Europe, they are an emerging power, so...
As for the vote thingy, I will vote my party (1) and two others, I will see which.

sure, Britian owns India, half of Australia and most of Canada (BC is Japanese and Quebec is American)
France came late in the colonial times (1500's Spain was here in the 1200's), due to their scientific power, it is possible that they focused on other techs before grabbing astronomy to sail to the new world. however the own half of Australia, and the lands they took from Spain in the Franco-Spanish war.
Spain lost all their colonies to France
Pourtugal owns South Africa, most of South America (with france owning the rest).
Netherlands, the last of the colonial empires, owns New Zealand and Venezuela

Okay, so, for warring England, we may need an alliance with Turkey, who may cause them damage at their Indian holds (Madras)

considering the turks have Assembly line (aka Infantry) and the British don't, turkey could be really useful to us, Destroying Arabia and British India

Okay, since I am a candidate Foreign Minister (if president Danger Bird is satisfied with how I've done at the post) for the next elections, here is my geopolitical analysis of the situation.
We have 3 oppositions (or alliances) to counter:
1) The Anglo-Aztec Alliance. I propose allying with Turkey to counter them, since they are the only ones in reach with the English colonies (Madras), plus they have Infantry.
2) Louisiana (French Autonomous area): Since any action against the colonies will bring the whole French Commonwealth against us, there are many possible allies. i) Spain, they have no more colonies which means that we will not DWo them later, and can strike the French mainland, ii) Portugal, their colonies are mostly at South America, and they would like to expand their rule at the French outposts there and iii) Russia, when the city-states of Germany choose allegiance, they will have common borders with the French. I would opt for iii), since they have huge manpower.
3) Japan, with whom we can fare alone, since it is only 1 city we want.

1) Arabia just signed a defensive pact with them, but Arabia is week compared to Turkey and Turkey could walk through them. Also the dutch are allied with Turkey, and have infantry worthy of taking English Soil. In order to take down the English, a defensive pact with Turks is a must.
2) France invaded Barcelona (or some other Spanish city beginning with b) and as a result Spain collapsed. In short, France and Russia loom as the two world powers, both of them will be next to impossible to take, Catherine is pleased with us, so we have allies in high places, however Napolean is annoyed towards us so this is the most likely war zone (Victoria has been Cautious since she offered Open Borders), Japan and the Dutch (and therefore Turkey) are the only two powers who could compete with France if a war was to come. In order to take down France, a Defensive pact with the Turks is a must.


If you look, we need to become Friendly with the turks, in order to achieve anything in this game.

Also France is Annoyed towards England, so maybe we could find a way to have them attack, and weaken each other, and then we go in and claim the rest

Turkey is needed for England but, as regards France, why not Russia? They might form common borders with the French once the Germany takeover is done, let alone the Turks do not have direct contact with the French, and the Dutch are not strong enough to wage successfully war at France (face it, they only have 1 city in mainland Europe, and 2 colonies)

Dutch are the second strongest European power (behind France and not counting Russia)
Russia owns Berlin, France owns Muncih... That could work

Also after just reading the land of Rus, I got an Idea, France is the Tech power

Yes. This is also a good reason to keep Saint Dominigue French after the war is complete; have a nearby city to provide techs

As a minister of military candidate, if elected I will work to mobilizing our forces and prepare to attack a European colonialist Imperialist country's holdings in NA and expanding our borders. I have not yet seen combat but am feeling secure with commanding our forces, which I believe will fare much better against any European who is sent to defend his country's colonies for the sake of his king. I will ensure our men will be properly equipped and prepared, for their moral is high, they know their cause is just, that they are truly fighting for their country and not their king, and I will make sure to guide them to success.

I vote for my party, the SAM, twice (If it's allowed) and one vote to our coalition partners, the confederate party of the US.
