I'm starting a different thread, specifically this one you're reading right now, to discuss the question about the mosque that is... gasp... right next to the hallowed ground of the WTC terrorist attack nine years ago. I don't mean the new mosque, which I think has it's own thread (though I could be wrong about that) but the one that's already there four blocks away from Ground Zero. Is not this center of prayer and charity an affront and a deeply wounding insult to every one of the 99% of the 9/11 victims who didn't happen to be Muslim?

What say you?

We must cleanse the heathens!

You know, I'm offended by that. In fact, I don't want any mosque in New York. I would be so behind a rebellion against the Islamic elitists by tearing their mosques off the sacred ground upon which they defecated. You know what, let's not just stop there. Why don't we destroy every mosque in the United States while we're at it? Wait -- why not go into other countries of the free world and take down their mosques as well? 9/11 was an attack on the Western World as well. You know what? Let's just go into them Muslim countries and tear their mosques down to punish them, and so that we can just speed up the death of the human race by a few hundred years or so, before we go batty and insane and let that little monster inside all of us out with no more government nor anything else to restrain that human nature anymore.

I'd already knew about this. It goes to show that whenever people view Fox News, or other corporate media channels, they blindly march to the sound of drums beating Islamophobia.

Joe, you can't refer to Muslims as heretics. They're heathens. At least they don't take the pretense of being Christian.

Oops! My mistake!

I must edit my post to stop the staining of the heretic's good name!

I should apologize for the erroneous thread title. I meant to start a discussion about the gentleman's club on Murray Street just three blocks from Ground Zero. I was thinking about moving to New York and starting up a Civ Fanatics Meet Up there.

Im not against religious freedom Muslims can build their mosque wherever they want but not next to a place where extremists killed thousand of people I dont hate Muslims.

So you're saying you're not against Muslims building a mosque anywhere, but every Muslim is guilty by association.
