Space Rangers 2
$3.75

Space Rangers 2 is a hybrid of several genres, but it excels in the RPG/Space exploration and trading parts (the RTS planetary battles are apparently really simplistic). There is a huge variety of events and missions to do, at your will according to your own plans and needs. Its pretty sweet and totally worth the price, though I've yet to figure out the space combat myself (haven't played it much yet).

You don't want Assassin Creed 2, seeing as how you have quite the limit on your downloads anyways :p

Demigod is on Impulse for ~$9.99
Sins of a Solar Empire also on Impulse for ~$9.99

Poker Night at the Inventory is on Steam for $2.99 (Totally worth getting, you don't need to know how to play to enjoy it)

Chime is $1.25, soem weird Tetris-inspired music game with 6 levels and the music seems kind of the same to me. Also slowest rendition of Still Alive ever.

RUSE is also 33% off on Steam for ~$33

Evil Genius is only $2.50 at 75% off on Steam as well, an excellent and fun game.

Even buy all the games I want to buy in a month I rarely download more than 40 gigs of game in a month. I mean, only so much money to spend on games. It's usually closer to 25-30 gigs. The rest depends on my gf's torrent activity.

You're also supporting DRM's always online DRM system, and if you lose connection even for a second in AC2 you get kicked to the main menu without saving.

I think they've changed the saving problem since then. But yeah, there is no way I'd pay full price for this kind of crap DRM. However, seeing as I'll probably never get a console, I'll never play the game, and I really want to play it. So yeah, my rightous path of anti-DRM will be tainted by that one buy I did once against my principles, even at a reduced price many months after the initial rush of sales they are basing their profits on.

It hasn't been fixed for AC2, indeed after asking someone I know who has it is apparently much closer to an immediate crash to desktop, all for losing your connection for a second. They are going to use the same DRM for Brotherhood too.

A tip for today's Steam treasure hunt thing:

Go To Your Happy Place
Play the demo or game The UnderGarden

I can't stress it enough, DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!

All you have to do is install the demo, load it up, play it (maybe not even that, it took me a few minutes to figure out the first "level" was actually how you choose what level to play, and I didn't even finish the first crappy level because I couldn't figure it out, and so I quit the game and got the treasure hunt achievement).

Its little more than a glorified flash game and not worth being a fully game imo.

EDIT: Some reviews:
Me:
DO NOT BUY. This is the LAMEST game (demo) that I have ever played from Steam. I don't care if its on for 99 cents, DO NOT BUY.
I give it a 1/10, its worse then Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing (which I haven't played).

THEEVERGOD:
If you want to rip the hair from your balls, this is the game for you, not only does it not make logical sense in ANYWAY, it doesn't let you escape, it’s an endless loop of keeping you in, OMG LEMME ME OUT, AND GET THIS *CENSORED* THING OFF MY PC!
---
I hope that the developers of this game read this before I come to there house and SHOOT THEM FOR MAKING ME ENDURE, AND TRYING TO KEEP ME IN THIS PIECE OF CRAP! BTW, THANKS FOR THE NON-EXSISTANT TUTORIAL, HELPED OUT GREAT WHEN IT TOLD ME TO USE THE WARP KEEP, GRAB KEY and *CENSORED* CHARGE KEY!
---
I could play this game for hours... ONLY CUZ IT DOESN'T LET YOU ESCAPE, pressing escape leaves you in an endless loop, and if that ain't bad enough there's no instructions on ANYTHING. But I mean, it looks pretty so that makes it worth playing, YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!
---
REALLY, REALLY, I mean its one thing to say, hey do you want to buy this game at the end, and then let you leave, its another to put you back in the game after you refuse!

Scubaguy:
This is a horrible game. If I had to play this or get a hot sauce enema, I would get the enema. I
feel as though the developer owes me money for playing the demo. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME.

Este es un juego horrible. Si tuviera que jugar este u obtener un enema de salsa picante, me gustaría tener el enema. I
se siente como si el desarrollador me debe dinero por jugar la demo. NO COMPRAR EL JUEGO.

I can't stress it enough, DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!

haha I also got caught in the endless loop. I didn't think it was a horrible game. I just wasn't sure it was a game to start with. I wasn't sure what I was doing exactly and there were no explanations. But I liked the pretty colors and the little dude drumming an awesome beat (actually a bass line). But yeah, it's... not a game? Made me feel very twee. I almost wanted to play with my collection of stuffed carebears after (since the existence of my collection of stuffed carebears was released on Wikileaks, no point hiding it right?).

Anyway, yeah, awesome moments trying to quit playing too, where you get the choice to either buy the game or keep playing. Somehow I eventually managed to quit the game but I have no idea how.

Also during during the install process it had me worried as it seemed to ask me to repair C++ and directX and I don't know what. What the hell?

EDIT: Caught the raging on Steam forum, I never posted there. Maybe I should, seems mildly helpful.

I skipped all the stuff it wanted to install (I already have .net 3.5) and it worked fine. I'm sure the game isn't quite as awful as we've said it is, but we had a very bad experience with the demo.

Still do not recommend buying it, ever.

Today's Steam sales are disappointing, but Mafia II is 33% off for $33. I haven't played it yet (still waiting for my copy that I ordered from Amazon) but I enjoyed the first game immensely for the Mafia feel.

For those of you who already have a non-steam version of Mafia II you can activate the game on Steam:
Mafia 2 CD Keys in this format: 1AB2C-D3FGH-456I7-JK8LM-NOP9Q

Two new sales on Steam, and I don't recommend buying Black Ops. All I hear on teamspeak is people complaining about lag, crashes, stupid, annoying, immature community, getting banned for saying such harsh swears such as "penis" (despite the game itself constantly swearing with an M17 rating there are apparently a lot of servers with no swearing rules), lag, unbalanced guns, but still playing it because its a change of pace and they spent $60 on it.

Shatter is 75% off for $2.50. I haven't played it yet but it looks good and I've heard its a really cool brick-breaker game.

Left 4 Dead 2 is also 75% off for $4.99 USD.
