The United Kingdom is pleased to announce the Treaty of London to bring an end to the Russian-Turkish War, drawn up through the mediation of Her Majesty's government.

Treaty of London:


1. All hostilities will end between Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, Russia, and the Ottoman Empire.

2. The Ottoman Empire will agree to never again persecute its Christian subjects.

3. The independent state of Armenia, consisting of Ottoman lands currently occupied by Russia, will be established as a protectorate of the Ottoman Empire.

4. Russia shall pay the Ottoman Empire the sum of 5 EP in reparations over 3 years.

5. The island of Crete will be turned over to Greece.

6. An independent Albanian state, protectorate of the Ottoman Empire, will be established, consisting of Ottoman and Greek-occupied Ottoman territory.

7. The rest of the Ottoman Empire occupied by Greece will be ceded to Greece.

8. The Ottoman Empire will contemplate the future of the province of Thessalonica. It may be given independence s a protectorate of the Ottoman Empire, or remain a province.

9. The territorial integrity of Bulgaria will be reestablished, and Bulgaria will become fully independent, free of Ottoman influence.

This is ridiculous. We have already signed treaties with your nation recognizing our claim to Kwang-Chou-Wan and we will not relinquish said claim, or rescind on these agreements to satisfy the Chinese government's apparent desire to be paid for the port.

We offered payment for the port to China previously, which the former Empress refused. We cannot respect this apparent intent on the part of the Chinese government to go back on the word of the sovereign, regardless of the current head of the regime.

We trust that other powers maintaining treaty ports in China will agree with our sentiments.

This being the case, while we will not make any payment for our maintenance of power of sovereignty over Kwang-Chou-Wan, we are willing to propose that sovereignty over the port will be returned to the Chinese government at a date to be determined.

There is no evidence for any treaty, and you yourself have stated that the former Dowager Empress refused your offers. The exorbitant cost takes into account that you occupied the territory before any negotiation took place. Other powers properly negotiated treaty ports, and benefit from legitimacy and our respect.

Treaty of Kwang-Chou-Wan taken from the update.

France long eying Kwang-Chou-Wan in envy finally announced it would buy it from the Chinese government for a hefty price. The Chinese refused and the French were insulted, they brushed it off to deal with more important things. In January a French naval and transport force appeared off Kwang-Chou-Wan's coast. They demanded that Kwang-Chou-Wan be turned over to the French government or massive bombardments and an invasion of the city would occur. The Chinese fearing another embarrassing war accepted and ceded the Port City to France under the Treaty of Kwang-Chou-Wan. This was hailed a diplomatic success by the French.

China cannot pick and choose which treaties it recognizes and which ones it does not when they have already been signed but this year.

7) The shah is able to veto any vote but a 1/3rd can overide the Shah's veto.

We have stopped any harm being inflicted on christians living in Persia. So as part of the compensation we are allowing merchant (and a limited amount of millitary ships) to stay in our harbors to refuel, before sailing wherever they need to.

I'm not talking about the founding of a Majlies, you've pre-empted the Constitutional Reveloution but thats besides the point. The Iranian intellegenstia and nationalists will be overjoyed.

Not only are you connecting your kingship to the pagan roots of the Achemenians and others, but a Christian cathederal built by state money, combined with the monument. There's nothing wrong with tolerating Christians, Iranians generally don't have a problem with Christians, it was usually Jews who were targeted in the riots, and there are Armenians in the north who are an important part of Iran, but giving them full equality like this is problematic, even following the Constitutional Reveloution the idea of equality among other religons was very much opposed by the hardline members of the ulema. The ulema are going to hate you for being an un-Islamic ruler, and while their political power isn't all that great right now they are a potent force due to the weakness of the Qajar state and state institutions and defacto control of the ulema over much of the villages and countryside combined with their economic power due to zakat and khums and control of waqf land, if you end up pissing off the bazaaris in addition or the nationalists or whatnot you're looking at an overthrow.

We are not pleased that Germany and Holland both violated the Monroe Doctrine. The United States will demand that Holland cancel the deal and America will match Germany's price. If this is refused America will support a revolution in Suriname to throw out their German oppressors. We are not certain who blew up the USS Maine but we trusted your government and their control over the city of Havana and its harbor so we docked knowing that it would be well protected, both by our own sailors and your soldiers in the forts near Havana Harbor. In an effort to keep the peace and ensure that stability remains I have decided to ask for compensation for the Maine, if you agree to pay us the price of a Dreadnought plus an extra 3 EP to cover the losses of American sailors lost, if you agree and pay us the 9 EP I am sure most of Congress will back off and leave you in peace, which means we will not support the Cuban rebels in any way.

If you refuse then I am afraid there is no other course available to us and we have to go to war to defend ourselves. And we will side with the rebels.

Brazil too must announce it's support for the United State's position with regard to Suriname. Frankly we are distressed that Germany and Holland would not only agree to such a deal but carry it out with no prior information to Brazil, violating not only the Monroe Doctrine but the trust of the Brazilian government of Holland and Germany as responsible powers.

Suriname as you know borders us, and as our borders are vast and far flung, it remains as always within Brazil's interests to ensure that it's neighbors are stable, and peaceful to ensure prosperity. We cannot help but think the secretiveness of this entire affair disguises some malevolent intention on the part of either Germany or Holland. Such doubts can be put to rest by the acceptance of the United State's offer, and the granting of independence to Suriname.

We would of course aid the new nation as best possible to ensure their territorial integrity and independence and their peaceful transition to a democratic mode of governance.

The very reason I am connecting the kings of the pagan past is because of nationalistic reasons. At those times Persia was a superpower, so saying the monarchy is related to the achemendends is because it's a promise to restore the glory days of Persia.

The state relgion is still Shia Islam, with the national holidays and calander centered around the Islamic year. All the public schools teach the Koran too.

My point is the ulema is going to be troublesome. You should machine gun them all.
