The first one is an exclusive comic for CivFanatics titled "Marathon Conquering" by Ctrl+Alt+Del's Tim Buckley. You can view it here in our gallery.

The second comic is titled "Turn is Over" and created by My Extra Life's Scott Johnson. It was posted on fellow fan site Planet Civilization this Monday.

The third comic is titled "Cultural Victory... not likely" and created by Steve Napierski. You can view it on Dueling Analog's website. This one was also posted on Monday.

Lastly, fellow fan site Apolyton also has an exclusive comic. It's titled "Two Workers Chatting" comic and the author is Dueling Analog's Steve Napierski.

The Civilization Daydreams promotion is coming to an end soon... The last comic will appear on Woody Hearn's GUComics website today.

EDIT: The last comic, "Picking Your Battles" is up at GUComics.

Hope you enjoy these comics...

eh, ok.

The first one had some potential, but I think the last frame was pretty lame.

When one wakes up to find a batch of webcomics about ones favourite computer game, and one of those comics is made by Tim Buckley, and the Buckley entry is the funniest of... No wait, that didn't come out right - and when the Buckley entry is the least horrible of the bunch, then one will know that something is horribly wrong with the world, and that it will all probably be over soon.

Really, this very day with its grave omens was accurately predicted as the beginning of the apocalypse by hieroglyphs at Copán! :run:

Oh, OK I'm exaggerating, but these comics were pretty darn unfunny.

turn's over is good.

Last one today! Thank you, oh merciful Rulers of Organized Civdom! Let thy missionaries cease their idle prattling or I may have to invent a pointy stick and close my borders.

can't seem to see the "turn's over" one...the page just says no image. *shrugs*

the first 2-3 that came out were kind of amusing.....but it seems like the people making the strips don't know civ that well and are struggling to fit some kind of civ setting to pointless "jokes"....they really aren't funny, and some are barely relevant to civ at all.

for me - the best was the guy who was just about to finish the pyramid and his neighbour finished it. His reaction ... WAR - a classic civ player's reaction.

I agree - while the drawings are nice, most of the comics have very little to do with Civ - probably because the Artists are not Civ players themselves. I liked the one about Pyramids. They should've done one about why it takes 40 years to move from one tile to another. Or how you can have Broadway without inventing Music first. Or converting population into hammers via Slavery, etc...

not bad at all, lol.
