Civilopedia:
From the II century BC to the IV century AD the Kushan Empire lived. It ruled the land from the eastern border of modern Iran through Afghanistan, Pakistan, northern India, western China and parts of former URSS countries. The first Kushan were nomads and lived in a larger territory in present China and neighbor countries, they were called Yu-chi. After conflict with rival tribes, the nomads Yu-chi came to west, founded cities and conquest new lands, there born the Kushanid Empire. In the history of Yu-Chi some tribes was absorbed or influenced them, these tribes came from present Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, India, China, Mongolia and others.
The 4th king of the Kushan was the great one, his title was Hiaoy (king in Kushanid language), his name Kanishka, aka Great Kanishka I. Kanishka lived in the I century, defeat tribes as Citas and Partos and disseminate the Buddhism by central Asia. In this kingdom, Kanishka I got many military victories and developed sciences and arts, it was the centre of the Golden Age of the Kushan Empire.
Because its locations among important Empires as Roma, Greece and China, the Kushan were important traders, but the same location that gave them these important status was the cause of them defeat, the borders of these bigger Empires could not stop grow up.

:goodjob: Good job.

How many leaderheads does this make ;)?

I have 13 civis ready, I hope launch a new tomorrow, I'm producing almost 20 civis or more at this same time :crazyeye: , most of them will be in CFC in the next days.

POST EDITED: IMAGE REMOVED

The proper Term would be Ku$hite, actually. (where the $ is should be an s.. stupid filter). But he looks good.

Cool, any idea for a UU?

I added a UU in these files, I called it "Nomad Hord", replaces horseman and moves in mountain/hill like plans. In Vanilla it has an extra defensive point.
The unit has own name and power, but uses the same arts of horseman, maybe a ancient mounted archer would be a good choice.

That was the kingdom of Kush and was quite different from the Central Asian Kushans. Think of the Hindu-Kush mountain range.

The Ku$hite lived in Africa actually.....they were one of the dominant peoples in one era of the Nubian Civilization...no relation to Kushan.

All these leaders are great !! :goodjob: [dance] Particularly Morpheus and the ELF ...

Hm the death animation is a bit strange. It looks like an acrobatic, but it is funny as well :D
But isnt the person in the horse smaller than in other units?

Thanks for have enjoyed more one creation Varwnos! :) The rider has the same sizes of my other mounted units, what I changed with the time was the proportion of the horses, cos I'd like turn it more look like then the horses present in Civ3.

This looks brilliant :goodjob: ! Quite big improvement compared to the old version.

Your work is too cartoony for me.
If you don't like it, don't use it. BTW Firaxis LHs are way cartoony, too.

Actually, the Kushans lived in exile on the planet of Kharak, but eventually returned to their homeworld Hiigara. ;)
