Wouldn't it be cool to have a glowing fish.

I read online yesterday about a type of fish that glows in the dark. It was genetically developed in Asia to detect certain chemicals. But now some of those fishes are on sale. Can't wait till the first shipment gets to the SF bay area.

Neon Tetras have some kind of thing that reflects or makes light. I had some years ago.

Anyway, there was a thread on this a couple weeks ago. I don't think they've been authorized to be used as pets yet.

I think these fish were genetically engineered by inserting some jellyfish genes (the ones that cause phosphorecence) into fish embryos. Its like life is a lego set for these guys.
