"Failed Loading XML file" Help me plz..

When I launch game, I got a 'XML Load Error'
I dont know the reason.

Error message is like this

according to error message the ending TEXT tag is not in keeping with Italian start tag.

It looks as though you have V1 loaded from the discs, on the early release there was this error (xml parser error). It was fixed in later releases. You need to deinstall Civ & reload as below:

Before Patching
Windows add/remove in control panel remove Civ - success or failed do the following

Delete the Civ IV Directories in:

- Programs/Firaxis
- My Documents / My Games
- C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\My Games\Civilization IV\ Its a hidden directory if not seen just check you have "show hidden files" switched on

Load from discs
Load Patch V1.52

If still issues - post again with your Dxdiag file

(Dxdiag - Start Button - click - choose run - type dxdiag - hit enter - wait a min - select save all information - post using 'advanced' button below)

I wonder my game CD is wrong one.

What language version OS are you running? It might be a problem with the character set that your OS is trying to run.

Yes Ive updated my XML Parser on the link above and the game is going now.
