Dark Ages popheads and advisors

I've just done some artwork for Plotinus' excellent Rood and the Dragon Scenario, including these single-era Dark Ages popheads and advisors. They all have the various expressions that they should have.

The other work I've done for the scenario is to make some new pcxs for existing leaderheads, especially fireaxis ones, to suit the ancient era.

They look very nice.

I like your models VERY much, R8XFT, but it would be great, if you could fix that little mistake, all the heads have: It always looks, as if the heads are glowing itself a bit, there are lights where shadows should be. That makes them looking a way to factitious. They look like there would be a light source inside the helmet, inside the headpiece or inside the hair. This is regrettably true for all the heads made by you.

Please don't misconceive. I think, they looks beautiful, but they still could look better/more real, simply by adding some shadows/replacing some lights. I made a attachemant to show what I mean. The arrow shows the "wrong" light on left side of the pic. Right side of the pic you see a "corrected" or "shadowed" version of one advisor from here.

Awesome work, and they could be quite fitting to my own mod as well. I'll have to test them out.

These graphics are splendid and have been slotted into my scenario, where they look very much at home. Thanks for the great work! He did this entirely off his own bat, too, without even being asked...
