When the he** is the patch?!? CONNECTING TO PEER

My god I'm tired of this.

They know there is a problem with the peer issue, and have known it for over a month.

WHY DONT THEY FIX IT?

Reasonable fix suggestions have been posted with constructive suggestions on how to do it ... but NOOOOO Firaxis obviously doesn't give a damn because they ALREADY HAVE OUR MONEY. I have requested a refund on multiple occasions, with no response as expected.

This is stupid. I for one will NEVER give them ot Take Two another penny of my money, and I'm sure there are quite a few that feel the same.

FIX THE GOD DAMN ERRORS WITH CONNECTING TO PEER - NOW!

Dont like this rant? Too bad. I'm tired of posting constructively in the past, and still a month later I waste 45 minutes not even being able to get a game together because all I see is "Can't connect to you, you have a bad peer" in the lobby chat. It doesn't matter what game - there are 6 team games up and EVERY one of them has this peer issue - Not just for me, but for EVERYONE IN THE LOBBY that is *****ing about this still.

NO ONE has been able to get a game tonight. FIX THE DAMN PROBLEMS.

Going to play some Warcraft 3. At least that game WORKED RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX LIKE THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO.

Tips for connecting

1)get civ4f it makes connecting easier: and use the in screen options to turn of caching

2) go into your ini file in the game folder, the notepad file that says Civsomething or other,can't miss it, go to the disable xml caching and set it from =0 to =1

3) reboot and press shift will also clear the cache, always do this if you drop from a game or just at regular intervals anyway.

4) not usually the issue but some firewalls have been known to clash, dont forget to open them ports too

5) play direct ip games, it bypasses alot of the connection issues, with civ4f you can organise a game from the lobby and be in the Direct IP staging room.

Playing and connecting with civ4f players never causes connection issues, I have yet to have a "bad peer" in the french league games and that I'm assuming is because they all use civ4f.
