Hello,
I've made this MOD, because I didn't found the Hittites in the forum and so I thought, I could make them and here is the result of my "work" :cool:

Civname: Hittitian Empire
Shortname: Hittites
Adjective: Hittitian
Starting Techs: The Wheel and Mining
Leader 1: Labarnas I. (Organized & Creative)
Leader 2: Murshili I. (Aggressive & Financial)
UU: Hittitian Chariot
Colour: light green
Flag: shows a Hittitian Chariot
Cities: Hattusa, Kanesh, Karkemish, Arinna ...





Report any bugs, criticize me and give advice to make the Mod better. :)

Wilusa is the real name of the Hittite capital in old Hittite texts.

Hatti is another city name :)

Hu...? I always thought, Wilusa was the name of Troy (Ilios) in Hittite texts. ;)
 
haha, oops. I got ahead of myself.

Looks great. The capital wasn't always Hattusa, one of the rulers (possibly Murisili?) had actually put a curse of the Weather God on the city before someone like his son moved the capital there.
Couple of minor points - I always thought that the adjective was Hittite, not Hittitian, so it would be Hittite Empire, Hittite Chariot, etc (great choice of UU by the way). Also, I would personally put the colour as white as that was the colour of the warriors cloth, if my memory serves me.
Other than that, can't wait to play it!

Now, we just need to consider adding in the features of Warlords and BtS: namely, a UB. :D Then, this thread will be the fully ressurected zombie that the Civ Gods wanted it to be.

You shouldn't resurrect this when there are Hittites for BtS and Warlords :rolleyes:

And you didn't even give a suggestion for UB? :eek:
