CivConverter graphics problem

Hello (again)!

I have a small problem (again):

When I use CivConverter to convert a Civ2-scenario to a scenario compatible with ToT, I get all the graphics mixed up, and yes I have turned al GIF-files to BMP-files.

How van I solve this problem?? Has it occured before? Thanks in forward.

Have you simply converted the original GIF files to BMP's? ToT bitmaps have a slightly different layout...

:hmm: But CivConverter converts the bitmaps as well doesn't it? Anyway, compare the scenario bitmaps with those in, say, the "Original" directory to see if everything is in place.
 
:goodjob: Thanks for the advice mate! And now I've got the graphics right. But, now it has another problem:

the units look very... strange. In stead of the unique scenario units (like a Boer Soldier in the 2nd Boer War scenario) look like 'normal' units (crusaders and even destroyers). How come?
 
That probably means it's using the standard sprite images rather than the bitmap.

- Go to the Game > Graphic Options and uncheck the animation options.
- Turn on the cheat menu, and go to Cheat > Scenario Parameters > Edit Special Rules. Switch on the .SPR file override. You could also switch on the two animation lockouts. Those options will fix the options in the game menu to whatever you set them earlier.
- Save the scenario.

The graphics should work properly now.

If you still have problems, you can also override the sprite file for each unit individually in the rules.txt:
- Open the rules.txt and locate the @UNITS_ADVANCED section.
- For each unit, set the first 0 (zero) of the last set of zeroes of a unit to 1 (one). That will override the sprite file (and thus force the use of the bitmap) for that particular unit.
 
This is maybe getting a bit annoying for you guys, but what do you mean exactly Mercator?

I've got this and what must I change??
