How do you turn off a continental rally point?

Also, is it possible to define a rally point for only military units (or units of a particular type)? I'm tired of setting rally points and having workers, settlers, and missionaries showing up in my stack of troops preparing to invade a barbarian city

I'd be interested in knowing how you set rally points at all. I don't see the key command for it on the keymap and I don't recall rally points being mentioned in the manual. That doesn't mean it's not there; I'm honestly wondering.

Unless I'm misunderstanding what you mean by rally points, but I don't believe I am. I used to use them in AoE2 all the time.

Can't remember the control offhand, but it's definitely listed somewhere, possibly in one of the hints and tips that diplay on the loading screen. I suspect a continental point will set the points for each city, so changing each of them would effectively remove the continental rally point.

To set a rally point for a given city, just click the title bar for the city to highlight it, then once over the point where you want the rally point, shift+right click.

To set a continental rally point, alt left click on any city title bar, then shift+ right click.

I was hoping this mechanism would serve as a toggle, ie, repeating the step toggles it off, but apparently I was wrong.

Any ideas? Thanks.
