Socialism has become the in thing right now. People are all talking about it. Someone like Marx would be proud. Only a little bit more before everyone's talking about Communism. Again.

Please discuss what you think constitutes socialism. Let me begin with a cursory (but insightful) list of things:

Oh, I'm waiting for some more responses from people who are vocal about the socialist problem before I elaborate on my own views.

To be fair, a picture speaks a thousand words.

I like the pictures, so please do not remove them. But it would also be nice if we could head towards a verbal discourse on the evil that grips the world now. The mods need that variety, I fear.
 
If socialism means I can get the same free health care the Congress and the Military do, I'm for it.
 
If these pictures are a political statement (in a humorous way) why aren't they being posted in the political cartoon thread in H&J forum?

Hey, guys, unlike you all I own the pictures I posted because I made them :smoke:

So pull your bootstraps and start contributing original content. And the forum rules imply the necessity of verbal discussion, so do that. I did ask a question and I did say I'm waiting for some responses that would help me get into the details of what I think of the matter.

EDIT: Props to Cheezy, though, because his picture does have plenty of intelligent words. I'll come back to it later.
