What Valk meant is that by adding or removing files you can only switch between Metamagic bugged, all others bugged or the old art.
 
I also haven't been able to use the clan worldspell in my latest game. Worldspells are enabled, there are no world spells active that block spellcasting, and I've made tried using it all the way through the game with no luck(I have pretty much all techs now).

can you use normal spells? if not:
i had a similar problem once and it was releted to a c++ bug (i think i used a buged version of "Saila, the Everchanging" module)
do you have PythonExceptions enabled?

Yeah, its just the worldspell; its greyed out like I don't meet the requirements to cast it. I'm only using the mods that came installed with 1.32. Do you have to be at peace with the barbs to use it? I used a leader without the barb trait.
 
I think you do need the peace with them. I remember playing a clan game once, took a city with Rantine, put my score too high, and they declared war. No more world spell.
 
The clan should have a way of becoming at peace with barb's again if they lose it, a team project or something.
 
Finally. A reason for me to try playing the Clan again.
 
Ah, good point.

I hate that option. We hid it for a reason; Too many mechanics are tied to civilizations (especially with Emergent leaders!), and it just causes problems. People expect things to behave in certain ways, and they don't if you use leaders not designed for the civ.

It's great for vanilla BtS, but for a mod where all civs and most leaders are mechanically distinct from one another it is a horrible trap. ;)
 
Yeah, I never play with unrestricted leaders, for that very reason.

The game would have been too easy without having to fight the barbs. In fact, they were my main competition untill I got clumsy with Rantine and lost him to a nullstone golem. Its also a well known fact I need my charisma trait:mischief:
 
I'm having a similar problem with the dteshi, I can't add population to my cities.

My units are also not getting the buffs from resources like infused ashes.

Weren't you the one that had problems with my module Saila, the Everchanging?
If yes, then it's most likely the same problem.
At least the not able to add population problem.
The other i don't know.
