Hello everyone, this is my first mod. It works both as mod component as well as a stand alone mod.

It's really a simple mod, merging some CivII stuff (No U anything, no traits, male and female leader, etc) with CivIV (Religions etc.)
The point? merge what in my opinion are the two best civ games.

Changelog:
VERSION 1.0 (current):
  • removed all UUs
  • Removed all UBs

To do next:
  • remove all remaining files for the UUs and UBs (they still appear in the civilopedia)
  • Remove and add leaders, according to what's needed
  • try to get rid of traits
  • maybe another civ or so, not sure as of yet.

oh. In that case, can both the file and the thread be moved to the modpack section?

That's what you have to decide yourself ;).
In general, "modpack" is meant as stuff which is meant for people to play it.
In the "mod components" forum there's all the smaller stuff, which is not really meant for playing, but rather for incorporating it into something bigger.
So i guess, it rather fits as "modpack".
 
A file this small could be uploaded to the Download section of CIV IV without needing an exterior host like media file.

Just D/L'd you mod. Will see what it really does.

OK, I almost have a new version of the mod, which has already deleted some traits for the leaders (Everyone up to bismarck) and also adds the Austro-Hungarian Empire. If I can get the Austro-Hungarian Empire to work, that is (leaderheads won't show up)
