IIRC, diplo text actually can be made modular. I use Willowmound's Actual Quotes in BAT, and they are modular. I'll have to have a peek to remember how he did it (If I'm not talking out of my hat here...), and I can add the appropriate XML to Grace's Text file. Avain's extra leaders have it as well, too, but he did it differently.

That would be great news. I tried making it modular myself, but I always removed the diplo text of the other leaders with it.

I tried that too,but SaibotLieh can not convert a model that doesn't exist.
Maybe you can ask another leaderhead maker...or you can use my modified Jingu LH as Seondeok.

You guys can make diplo texts modular if you use WoC (Lite) or my Paprika modcomp (which uses WoC Lite). Not much to do to switch to my Paprika modcomp, just download it and add the additional files to your mod. All default modular mods should remain compatible. Even thought about adding this to avains VD to have it enable modular unique building art, but there didn't seem to be desire for that.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I would like to keep the leaderheads modularity as general as possible, so adding the need for a certain modcomp is out of the question.
 
I see your point, but I don't think you will be able to make the texts modular without a modcomp. I'm pretty sure that Lemon Merchants solution is also based on a modcomp - or better said some modded dll.
You could still provide diplo texts, but give a statement that they can be used modular only with further modding (maybe refer to modcomps that would help). Maybe you could provide a separate download for them.
 
A new leaderhead: Lieu-Ye, a female leader for the Khmer this time.

Since the the information I found about her are rather nebulous, I'm not really sure if the historical Lieu-Ye really existed, but I guess a female Khmer leader is not a bad thing in any way. Also I'm pretty sure that her clothes are historical inaccurate, but well, you know, whatever. ;)

Hm, I don't like to fumble to much with the given skin color, does it look that different from the cambodian skin color?

I think she looks better with brown hair, but I can change her if everybody else want so.

Great!Have you taked a look at my suggestions for female leaderheads in this gallery?
I will be using her in my mod "Rhye's and Fall of South East Asia" as queen of the Kingdom of Funan.
But why do you call her "Lieu-Yi",her common name is "Queen Soma" or in Khmer "Neang Neak".
In my mod I just name her "Queen Soma".
Anyway,great leaderhead!:goodjob:
EDIT:You don't have to upload her...Can you post her with black hair(in a zip file in this thread)?
I'm historical accurate and I think that she looks better with black hair...

Have you tried one of the Vanilla CIV leaders, like Hapshepsut? Maybe Ekmek's Wu or the Hai Ba Trung, or his version of Jingu?

Yes, your list gave me the last push to make this model into a leaderhead, thanks for that.

I've chosen the name Lieu-Yi because that name is used for her on the Cambodian website I took parts of the background infos from. Also that name is used in the timetable on the wikipedia entry for Funan. Soma seems to be her name after she married and thus not the sole ruler of the kingdom anymore. Neang Neak might have been a good choice, Lieu-Yi is the chinese name of her after all, but since Funan is also a chinese name it is consistent to name her Lieu-Yi I think.

But of course each can rename her as he likes. :)

Those models are already Civ4 files, so I can't convert them. You have to remember that I'm no artwork maker, just a converter of already existing artwork to Civ4. I'm capable of minor changes, nothing more.

I've added the dds files to turn her hair black to the download as well as to this post.

I got that one from Atlantica Online. I always mention where I get my models from in the download section.
 
Aweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesome. I could totally see her being used as Suriyothai or something else as well.

For all who don't know her, this is Miranda Lawson from the game Mass Effect 2. Converting her model wasn't as easy as I anticipated and hoped, but still not that hard. At least there was no artwork-work this time.
