War has come to the once peaceful nation of Genericstan. Two rebel groups have risen up against their oppressors, and have brought with them a revolutionary fervor with which to challenge the old regime. Men clash on all sides seeking justice, safety, freedom, and above all peace.

That's all well and good, but Genericstan also happens to be a technologically advanced nation, investing heavily into secret science projects of all sorts. While these secrets have been heavily guarded before, the current political situation presents a great opportunity for those who are savvy enough to make off with whatever they can get their hands on.

That, of course, is where you come in. For whatever reason, your secret society/corporation/knitting circle has taken a great interest in the technologies that Genericstan hides away within the top secret science labs. Sensing an opportunity in the recent shift of power, they sent you to acquire whatever secrets that the nation carries. While you may be invaluable, remember that you are expendable, and your benefactors will not make an effort to save your skin should you fall into a sticky situation. Just keep sending them their technology and you will be greatly rewarded.

Other than that, feel free to do what you want, Just watch out for the Black Guard, okay?

1. Yes
2. Healing will mostly be done via items. (ie health kits and medicine). Engineer and Knowledge can be used to make quick fixes, like making a makeshift bandage out of an old uniform.
3. Yes, but the headgear will be noticeable by unfriendly NPC's, and you won't be able to relay technology back to your employers with a headset (Though you can talk to other players within a certain distance.)

Name: Corpral Ben Smith
Organization: The Society of British Bedstead Men :twitch:
Bio: Ben Smith Was born in Crumpetshire. Growing up in that particular region has left him looked at by many as slightly bonkers, and not without reason. It was here he aquired the passion for tea that has lasted throughout his life, and similarly adopted the patriotism common in the area. He lived for the first few years of his adult life quite normally, but on a holiday saw a phonomenon that would change his life. A broken antique bedstead lying near a pond in a forest, looking as if it had been there for years. When he asked the locals about this he was directed to "those nutters in the SBBM". It was in an internet search for these people he ran across thier website, and it combined with his peculiar brand of patriotism to capture his imagination. He had applied for membership within the day.

Name: Dell Conagher
Organization: The Professor's Vault
Bio: I grew up a young boy in Ersatzopolis, child to two college professors. Even as a young boy I passed all my classes with flying colors, and certainly made my parents proud. I obtained a full scholarship to High Mesa, one of the most prestigious colleges in the world. As I went through college, I attracted the interest of the government, promising me once I finish college, I could get a job in one of their labs. It was on of the best days in my life, finally obtaining the job I dreamed of.

Oh boy how was I wrong. The technology they had access to was tremendous, but at the same time frightening. Their was no benefit for the people in this, but only ways to use it for power. It went against everything I ever learned or thought, and I was scared. I wanted to leave, so much, but they probably didn't want this tech to get out, and if I tried to leave, I thought they would kill me. I gathered everything I had and left the city, intending to leave the country. Then, I was contacted by "The Professor's Vault", who had heard about me, and knew I had left. They told me they were working toward destroying or captring the tech the government obtained, and since I had no choice, I joined them.

Name: Frederick Klavier
Organization: Free City of Dinnertopia
Bio:
Spoiler History of Dinnertopia :
In history, fractured city states in place of a nation usually bolstered the art of science. The necessity of competition usually factored into people trying to be the next genius. Dinnertopia is not one of these.

The Free City of Dinnertopia, a once constitutional dukedom, was established in 1664 in the Kitchener "Empire". However, said empire was really a patchwork of small, independent nations brought together by a sense of cultural unity. There was massive infighting throughout the empire, and nations easily rose as they fell. The Great Partion War of 1743 (1743-1743), however, saw Genericstan and other countries neighboring the Kitchener Empire to invade and annex all the cities it could greedily grab first. However, the ingenious military actions of Dinnertopia allowed it to survive in the nick of time, and to this day remains the only independent nation of the Kitchener people

At first, time seemed to move on, and the Dinnertopians adjusted to the new life. However, cultural differences, mainly leading of the national Kitchener food of Spinach Pancakes, frowned upon by Genericstan society, led to the First Pancake War (1872-1875). During this time, the parliament of Dinnertopia, filled mostly with intellectuals, started thinking about if food was really worth getting in war. They decided it wasn't, so they signed a humiliating peace treaty that banned spinach pancakes. The masses were in fury due to this, who thought the government betrayed them. The duke, seeing potential power out of this, decides that he would restore Dinnertopia's favorite food, but he needs to overthrow parliament

Thus, the Great Dinnertopia Revolution (1876-1911 in total) started between the forces of parliament and those of the duke. The latter forces were extremely anti-intellectual, and burned down all the schools they controlled. In 1883, the last Parliament forces held out in the university, and the building was burned down in a resulting battle (The Battle of the University of Dinnertopia) to dislodge them. Once the duke took control after the battle, he declared himself Kaiser of Dinnertopia, and revoked the constitution. Most importantly, he lifted the ban on Spinach Pancakes, thus causing Genericstan to declare war again. This time period, from 1883 to 1911, is often referred to as the Second Pancake War.

In the Second Pancake War, the Dinnertopians walled up the city and fought off the invaders. Eventually, the Genericstani forces realized how stupid this ordeal was, and left in 1911, ironically one week before the city would had ran out of food and water. They accepted that the Dinnertopians had a right to eat spinach pancakes as they pleased, and the peace treaty from the first war was revoked.

From then to now, Dinnertopia is famous primarily of having the dumbest citizens in the world. There is no school system at all, and any form of intellectualism is frowned upon. Democracy and freedom is frowned upon (As long as the right to eat spinach pancakes was in effect) as a sign of weakness, and the citizens are not only okay, but plead the Kaiser to repress them in any form possible. Therefore, there are no elections, and various rights most nations take for granted. However, the recent crowning of the new Kaiserin Maria, just in 2011, may lead to a reversal of at least the lack of intellectualism in Dinnertopia...

Frederick Klavier was born on 1976. He always plagued by a major problem in his life; he was smart. Well, smart is pushing it, but he was a rocket scientist compared to the people he lived near. He knows how to do long division by hand, and doesn't fear a calculator anyways. In Dinnertopian society, this is considered a sign of weakness and shame. His parents, a part of a long warrior society, shunned him in favor of their kids, and eventually kicked him to the streets at 16. Klavier would sneak into the house later that night for one last time, stealing their ancestral sword that he did not trust in their hands.

From there, Klavier wandered in the streets, and became a wandering awnserman. For a small fee, he would answer a question to the best of his knowledge. He could not stay in the same block for two nights, for the majority still distrusted him. During one of these days, he found an abandoned MP-40 filled with toothpaste (The previous owner thinking it was a glue gun, don't ask), and pocketed for himself to restore later.

The new Kaiserin who was crowned in 2011, Maria I, took interest in this strange man, and called him to her palace. She was able to deduce for herself this massive brain drain of the nation made it ripe for invasion by surrounding nations. This threat was especially so from Dinnertopia's main antagonist, the Genericstani, for they were miles ahead according to even the smarter nations. This civil war that just happened might be the key to saving the city state, if this strange man was able to steal their technologies and bring it back to her.

Klavier, knowing that there was no way he could refuse, accepted. Before being sent out, he teaches her about a wonderful device known as a radio. After the initial cries of witchcraft by the Kaiserin, she later realized the importance of keeping contact with Klavier. Therefore, she managed to find an old, dusty one hidden in the basement. After prepping for this mission, Maria officially "expelled" Frederick for witchcraft (Ignoring that he would be a warlock, but who gives), and he was sent to Genericstan.

Note, dates are based on our calendar, with no equilivent given by electric If a different dating system exists, let's assume that Dinnertopia has its own calendar, which by coincidence is the same as ours, and I used its dates.
