Greece is probably one of the most culturally important nations on Earth, and has had a long and weird history. In this civ, they're represented by the Greek city-states and Empire in the Ancient/Classical age, the Byzantine Empire(mostly) in the Medieval and Early Renaissance, and then back to Greece for the rest of the game.
