Modcomps for BTS 3.19

Basic Series (Gamecore DLL independant, built on BUG 4.4):
The Basic series of modcomps require no special DLL so they are simple to merge with any mod. They include original work and adapted/updated work.

Expanded Series (Gamecore DLL dependant, built on BUG 4.4):
The Expanded series of modcomps require special DLLs or other core files so they are more difficult to to merge with other mods. They may require mod comps in the Basic series to work. They include original work and adapted/updated work.

UPDATE:
well, just finished a 90hour marathon conquest game from year 4000BC to 2140AD. The was a merged mod including all of the above.

No major issues! The enjoyment factor was high :)

Two things:
  • some events were broken as metioned in the basic expanded mod thread. I'll look into it.
  • the cost for corporate relocation zero'd out after a certain year. Maybe the cost isn't scaling correctly vs economy size, so I'll look into that too.
Overall, im pretty happy with the game play. I've been burned before investing alot of time into a game to find in the end that the AI doesn't know how to build fighters (for example) :mad:

I wonder what the infinite loop fix fixes, since i've never had any CTD or freezes with the mods above. (all the mods above are in my unreleased Expanded Reborn mod :crazyeye: )
 
Thought I'd mention that the change to CvMainInterface.py (from BBAI) doesn't work without the BBAI DLL.
 
update:

lol, i got a few hours into a new game the 34civs dll and hit an issue. i guess when you start with 34 civs there is no room left for new civilizations created from colonies.

DOH!

time to start a new game :o

Any recommendations for default packed large world? I am thinking about starting with 22 civs.

btw, change <iDefaultPlayers>#</iDefaultPlayers> in CIV4WorldInfo.xml to have custom games default to that so you dont have to manually add players every new game.
