Ok, so I was picking it up today, but unfortunately, mangxema didn't put my real name on it, so I couldn't pick it up until he sent an email to UVA mail saying that it was for me. :cringe:

Since he's done that, I'll pick up tomorrow, and hopefully both take the photo and have it shipped tomorrow.

Yea, I had a hard time explaining to the black lady working at the mail counter that "madviking" is my username on an online website.

Yes, and it was a little awkward on my end as well, b/c apparently UPS's system won't let you send something without a name, and I didn't have one at the time. 'madviking' seemed innocuous enough so I used that so I could get it out.

You aren't in the US after 9/11 and a couple of cases of anthrax and other white powdery substances being mailed to various public people. They won't take a package that isn't addressed fully here.

But that doesn't mean you have to use your real name Just a valid address. And, in any case, it was UVA, not USPS, that looks to be Madviking's problem here.

I will abide by Contre's turnaround-time rules (would do so anyway) if I'm still in the chain. I've already given LucyDuke my snailmail address and I might not be checking CFC regularly at the moment (work has been brutal), but something more important like maintaining a chain isn't something I'd delay.
