"I can totally explain" said Machiavelli, then he noticed that Borgia did not say it as well. Freaking backstabber he thought as the King's Wrath turned upon him, "Remember the agreement you signed three weeks ago? The one that asked for no return message?"

The King nodded.

"It has to do with that, trust me." continued Machiavelli, "And if Italy survives, I ask for nothing. If it fails, you may take my head and continue with Borgia's idiotic idea with the Austrians."

"It's not Idiotic!" whined the aristocrat, caught offguards at this twist.

"Just shut up you two" said the king, "It's hard enough to fight a war for revenge without knowing who to take revenge upon."
