Okay guys, let's try something different.
No victory conditions, all those boxes unchecked, even time. This world will develop as many do, and completing the Utopia Project, launching a spaceship, maybe even getting voted in as World Leader Pretend, or completing multiple genocides will still be possible, but, except in that last case, the game will continue afterward. We will play it until we're all tired of playing it, and decide to start a new one.
Alternate Reailty just means it's more about the story than the win. Diplomacy will be very important, players are encouraged to pursue their own limited (or grandiose, go ahead, kill everyone!) goals. Posting about these things is encouraged, too, though not required.
Note: the start time is fixed at 8pm local time, unless modified by all players' agreement, with a minimum of 24 hours notice before any changes. The day(s) we play are flexible, based on everyone's availability. I can play pretty much any day at this time, for 2 hours or so.
Who's up for it? Looking for 6-8 reliable players.

but I'm worried about how the story line would develop except maybe rallying against the ultimate rise of a superpower. Perhaps if you and tab stuck in an eternal war, then the rest of the world can live their fantacies and dream about literature and poetry.
