In depth trade offers and agreements will have to wait until a response is given by the Northern Watch. However the Egyptian Republic is willing to allow to use of the canal in exchange for a NAP, a single trade route and the agreement to hold a meeting to discuss areas interest in the middle east that both our countries have influence in. As we expand we will most likely become neighbours, as such we shall also keep you in mind for future opportunities.

Our far republic wishes to extend the hand of friendship to you, our fellow African power and defender of the Mediterranean. As the other gate into these waters, and a ally of our neighbour to the north, every effort should be made to coexist. While we cannot offer a trade agreement just yet (pending talks), we would happily offer a NAP. We would also offer free passage through the Suez Canal in exchange for equal rights passing through the Gibraltar Straight. We would also like to discuss the 2 provinces currently acting as a buffer between our nations.

OOC: Not sure exactly how the Trade works. Is it 1EP for none trade nations, 2EP for a trade route between a none-commercial and a commercial, and 3EP for a trade route between two commercial nations?

Or is it 2EP for normal trade routes and 3EP for trade routes between commercial nations?

Either way pro-commercial diplomacy seems paramount.
 
The Commercial Watch Alliance

The Egyptian Republic is calling for a alliance between the four commercial powers of the world. If the nations sign on then the Suez Canal will be opened for free use and each nation encouraged to trade with every other member from the alliance to create a more powerful trading union.

So far this alliance contains no link to military action, but it is hoped that the power gained by trade would cause each member to build closer ties.

EDIT OOC: Edit, its revealed that it is additional bonuses for commercial nations. Either way a trade alliance between all four would reap powerful gains for each nation. It would also leave the 5th trade route possible free for local entanglements.

This trade alliance could become a defensive alliance if all members deem it applicable. This larger alliance is a seperate affair from the proposed total alliance offered between the Egyptian Republic and the Northern Watch

The UMWE feels our trade relationship is a virtue. You and Turkey will be free from any burden of tithe from travelling through the Gibraltar Straight as you are to be our closest friends. We hence offer our hand also in a offer of a defence pact, while suggestion that Turkey, Egypt and Megrheg make a pact of alliance so that we can protect our common interests while having grander time in dividing territories between the three of us. Consider this well.

The Great Turan accepts this offer of a Defensive pact, and while we don't mind you calling us Turkey, as we are a unified Turkish Nation, Turkey references just one of the Turks the Anatolian Turks, and we would prefer if we were called by the name of Turan if you wish to shorten our name, as Turan refers to all the Turks and not just those in Anatolia.

With the Collapse of the American Socialist States and Japan the world has changed. Egypt's ally, The Northern Watch, has passed on information that the Indonesia Watcher States is pursuing an isolation policy, curtailing any alliance entanglements.

As such The Egyptian Republic is turning its attention towards closer ties with the Mediterranean powers. While our Alliance with The Northern Watch must take precedent, Egypt is happy to sign defensive pacts with these powers. (Turan, Megrheg) With two trade routes still open Egypt is extending them towards those who have professed friendship with its allies The Northern Watch.
