The Alliance did not start this war. Neither did the Coalition. The Alliance merely did not wish to sell Taiwan and China declared war upon us threatening nuclear Armageddon. The leaders of China are willing to see the world burn unless they get what they want. Unless that has changed then there can be no peace until Weapons of Mass Destruction are no longer in your hands.

The Coalition wants peace and only the Great Turan is attacking you. To Nuke the whole Coalition over this is a sign of barbarian behaviour. If you will not act in a civilized manner then you will be removed from the international scene.

We want to return to last years borders in order to make peace and also to have Turan to stop it's attack on Sinkiang. Then we can talk about reduction of nuclear weapons.

In North America, two American Guard companies deserted over the last year, presumably lured away by foreign spies. US intelligence services have no clue who was responsible and are publicly requesting more funding. Mexico has expanded its navy and begun development of an air force.

The USCM has undergone internal dissent and confusion as a new leader has risen to rule in the new capital of Montreal, abandoning Winnipeg. What the new People's Republic of Montreal will do is a mystery. Will they follow the USCM's footsteps, or will they negotiate with their bellicose southern neighbor?

Little of note occurs in Africa beyond the overdue Emirates/Egyptian land transfer. But in Southern Europe and Saudi Arabia, tensions flare over Egypt's ongoing commitment in China. The people of Italy revolt, forming a new Socialist Republic, and the Saudis form the New Caliphate. The loss of the Saudi Arabian Army Base has caused one Egyptian Guard and one Militia to desert already. Will Cairo negotiate, or neutralize? And will foreign powers take the chance to cut the legs out from under the Land of the Pharaohs?(New NPC: Italy. Territories claimed: Central Italy. New NPC: Caliphate. Territories claimed: Saudi Arabia.)

In Asia, the SSSL has invaded and annexed Mongolia, adding it to their territory. They claim they are defending the region from Chinese assault while the Coalition disassembles the mighty Dragon of Asia, but are they telling the truth or masking imperialism? And either way, what shall be done about it?

Meanwhile, the fate of China - and the fate of the world - are decided in a vicious campaign for Tibet. One Chinese Guard battalion is the only survivor of a blitz of Desertion-inducing spies across the country, and it withdraws into double fortifications in the high mountains of Tibet. The Egyptians advance - so far from home - with two Guard battalions and a company of Militia - 9 Strength against 18. But as things look bleak for Egypt, an Indian army arrives from the southern borders, comprised of three Guard companies and a wing of CAS aircraft. After the coalition regroups, they begin a general assault on the Chinese positions.

The battle is long and vicious. At first the Coalition is thrown back in skirmishes around the foothills, but thanks to dedicated air support from the lone wing of Indian planes they rally and counterattack, driving the Chinese into their heavy redoubts in the Tibetan peaks. Weak and exhausted, the two factions hammer at each other again, as fighting penetrates deep into the very Chinese missile command bunkers. Elite commandos, regular soldiers and brave Indian pilots duel with Chinese Presidential Guads, loyal unto death to their leader, never surrendering in the brutal fighting. The CAS unit is eventually shot down and all its members massacred by Chinese soldiers as an example to the remaining soldiers, but they only fight all the harder in response.

After five days and nights of fighting across Tibet, the Coalition's flags fly from the Chinese Nuclear Bunker. What now lies in store for the world, with the nuclear threat annihilated? Chinese missiles have been spread among the Coalition's members, as trophies of conquest . . . . (+100 Nuclear Strength for Egypt, India, The Great Turan and Northern Watch.)

It is perhaps vexing when the common people proceed to do by violent means that which was already planned by peaceful politics. To the people of Central Italy I say stand down, Italian Independence plans have been under way for some years now, they would have gone into effect last year except the land transfer was held back by complications in the Bureaucracy. If you are willing to put down your weapons and realise that talking is more important then warfare then soon the whole of the Italian Peninsula could be self governed. You would have to stop this silly socialist business and vote in a proper republican government that would represent all 4 territories of Italy, not just Central Italy, but it could happen right now and no one would have to fight or die in pointless rebellions.

On the other hand the revolt of Saudi Arabia is obviously funded by foreign influence. It has no political basis nor does Saudi Arabia clash culturally with Egypt. We might assume that Chinese Agents were involved but we also eye suspiciously our Southern neighbours whom tried to seize the gulf coast from rightful Egyptian hands.

This assault on Mongolian soveriegnty is an affront to the united coalition war effort that existed to battle China. While men and women died to stop Chinese mad men from plunging the world into Nuclear chaos, cowardly Russian agents took over a independent state that had bravely stood up to the Chinese Capital. I gave the Mongolian people my word that their future and lands would be decided after the war. I sent agents with money and intelligence to help them fortify against the Chinese. Those are the signs of trust, these are actions that help a Independent power defend themselves. Annexation was never the answer.

As a man of my word I will not let this stand. I hope that the ULYANOVSK Coalition will come down hard on their supposed ally. The Coalition campaigned hard to keep Russia independent and pushed for the sale of more land to them. Now it seems that Russia does not treat other nations how it wishes to be treated. Its moral high ground is gone. I will not push for my nations ally, the Northern Watch, to sell land to Russia any more. In fact unless Mongolia is allowed to once again be a free and Independent nation I do not see Asia stabilising post-China.

OOC: What Happened to the Isis Flight (2 Strike Planes) That had orders to assault Tibet if certain conditions were met. I am glad that India came through otherwise as the planes did not fly this would have failed and China would have been Nuking everyone.
