Favourite civ tournament

This was a surprisingly close match, almost a tie, but the Mongols pulled off a narrow victory!

Match 3:

In the blue corner, spawning in 1810 AD with a lot of wars to fight in little time, it's
Argentina

In the red corner, spawning in 50 BC in a small, but fertile homeland, it's
Korea
VS
And in the green corner, spawning in 1200 AD with an entire continent to themselves, provided they can stop the Europeans, it's the
Aztecs
 
I'm a little torn. The Aztecs and Korea both have a UHV that is a lot of fun thanks to a fun, non time-limited goal. In Korea's case, it means hoisting the Jolly Roger and roaming the seas looking for fights, while in the Aztecs' case, it means sending big raiding parties around to slaughter colonies. And Argentina has one of my favourite leaderheads in San Martin and a very gorgeous country.

Well, I'm giving the edge to the Aztecs because I only beat their UHV yesterday and had a lot of fun marauding around Brazil and razing New York time and time again (English, French, and Dutch really love that city).
 
Whoops, turns out you're right. I couldn't remember so I used the Civilopedia to check their colour, but it turns out they actually have a different colour and flag in-game.
 
Korea = 2/3 Poor Man's China + 1/3 Poor Man's England. It's only purpose is to give China and Japan something early to kill with a face. Its UP is laughable and should have been its UU instead. It's much better than Thailand, but still one of the worst civs in the game.

Aztecs vs. Argentina:

UP: Both UPs are awesome in different ways but I suggested the Argentine one so they win.
UU: Unlike Jaguars, Grenadier Cavalry are actually useful. Argentina wins again.
UB: Sacrificial Altar is iconic, useful, and cool. CSP is generic, comes too late, and the effect is bland and repetitive. Aztec wins.
UHV: Quite similar (expansion + military + supercity), but Aztec edges out because they have Floating Gardens.

Tiebreaker: Interactions with other civs:
Despite their more isolated start, Aztecs's UP and UHV make their interactions with other civs especially interesting. In particular their UP makes barbs interesting in ways that no other civs can match. And it's more fun to shut down conquerors than to fight war of independence.

Aztecs win this one.

Aztecs. Just to apologize for all the times they got crushed by my empire of the rising sun trying to cure the fact that the sun wasn't always rising on it.
 
Aztec for me. I get bored playing Korea and don't like the scripted way in which Argentina is basically forced to accept the layout of its cities. I much prefer to be able to found cities where I want them to be rather than where scripting dictates.
 
Argentina. I'm Argentinian and I find it very hard to vote aginst my own country. Besides I find funnier than Aztec/Mexico or Korea
