Favourite civ tournament

Greece
because it can do everything in the game faster and better than any other civ.

Inca
for the same reasons as I previously gave.

Spain and Prussia couldn't beat Greece in the main match. In the tiebreaker, Inca and Poland were very close again, but eventually Inca won!

Spoiler :
Inca: 10 - 55,6%
Poland: 8 - 44,4%

Spain: 5 - 27,8%
Prussia: 4 - 22,2%
Greece: 9 - 50,0%

Match 10:

In the red corner, spawning in 850 BC to conquer the first big empire in DoC, it's
Persia
VS
And in the green corner, spawning in 295 BC with little time to prepare for the coming barb-storm, it's
Ethiopia

I remember really hating to play as both these civs in vanilla RfC, but also found them both a lot more fun in DoC. Ethiopia was very unfun in RfC, but I found their UHV a lot more doable and more fun in DoC. But Persia, whose UHV I only completed a few days ago, is especially fun. Their UP is amazing (while the Ethiopian one merely protects you from annoyances) and allowed me to nearly get to a conquest victory while conquering Babylon, Jerusalem, Phoenicia, Transoxania, Egypt, Greece, Carthage, India, the Tamils, Czechia, Russia, and China for their land grab goal.

Always had a soft spot for Ethiopia and weirdly it's one of the first UHVs I won. I enjoy the alt-history of the religion founding, and then the slow territorial creep southwards to grow the empire.

Persia

Persia.

I have some ideas that will make it even more awesome. Will post them after Leoreth is finished with the Stability/Civics redesign.
