about historical background and mod similarity - in the past weaks and this weak end, i read so much about the civil war, i feel like an expert

if youll check out the buildings and wonders - youll find that 90% of them have historical meaning - i used inventions, inventors names and notable stuff for the appropriate eras.
although i think i wanna change placement of some wonders ive put i think too early and too late in the tech tree.
anyway - im happy to say i just finished getting about 20 more wonders, so basically im 99% done with the buildings.
i fear for balance though, just so you know - my guideline with buildings is to link the buildings, economy and production to the resources, many buildings provide bonus attributes.
1 thing i like in my mods is that you have to struggle (to the very last tech) to get money - it makes you think about strategy, building stuff and units.
those are just my ideas
dont worry about me doing this mod solo so far, believe me, youll have plenty to do

as drak said - we are just building a first alpha beta gamma version, in two month, i bet the mod, the techs and more will change a lot with our shared input.
its just something to get us going.
so,
now to business:
you can use the latest version i uploaded yesterday - its a very updated version.
i think the most important thing now is to set the costs for every building after the obsolete tech (if any) and last the max era start.
i know you got talent with the art,
thought - my system of modding is art as the last part (besides units). the buildings all use generic art for now, later we can change. i wanna get the structure of the mod first.
but of course - you can do what ever you want first

i dont mind as long as you have fun working on the mod.
anyway - maybe you can make us some cool rifle/musket man ( i used what the site has to offer for now) later on i hope.
(another stage i wanna get that i didnt do is to do the natives unit art styles - i did only for union and confederacy)
tomorrow im gonna start with the religions, or maybe the day after, ill see when im free.
more ideas i had:
1, move the independence tech before the first unit tier (after the few starting techs ) and maybe add another layer of techs with a second unit tire (i guess that will be in a longer term of the mod) just a thought i had.
2. any ideas for what corporations will be? and do?
3. great people - i was thinking of adding great states man (not sure ill add python aslo ...)
4. anyone got some idea of how to do something with founding fathers? maybe make then as projects? we can choose 5-10 of the most famous ones, and do them as projects/wonders?
5. i dunno... im hungry now
