Favourite civ tournament

Libertarians

Check my Tamil submission in the UHV challenge thread ;) I'm not exactly the prototype libertarian (but I guess those Bob Dylan lyrics in my signature aren't helping my point :D) when it comes to fulfilling the UHV goals .

However, I've always enjoyed playing the underdogs in DoC far more than playing the big bad guys. That's why I prefer civilizations like Kongo, Maya, Ethiopia, Tamils etc. Then there are some civs that fascinate me because I know a lot about their history and culture such as Greece, Germany, England, America.

Turkey and China do not fall under either of these categories. I don't blame you guys for liking them at all - I'm sure they have a lot to offer. It's just a personal preference.

Is Cixi actually in the game?

I remember a long time ago, iOnlySignIn, I and a few others voiced some displeasure about her addition,
considering it was the equivalent of adding Caligula for Rome or some other ineffectual leader.
I've never actually seen her in game.

Ya know, I don't think I've ever seen her too. Hongwu hangs around long after Cixi should have taken over.

And yeah, her being a leaderhead doesn't make sense, since the only people who are immortalized by them are the greats of history. I don't know much about China, that much I can admit, but Cixi certainly wasn't a... positive influence on China.

EDIT: sorry about the double post, I slipped up.

If she's not in the game, her LH should be taken down.
Although imo, this fight is quite fair.

I remember Leoreth's statement at the time being that Cixi was included
because there was no representative of the Qing period,
and Kangxi did not have his own LH oddly enough,
but I'm fairly certain that she's not in the game.

There's no rules against double posting, AFAIK.

Yeah, I can accept Leoreth's logic, but with the "quality" of that leaderhead and the person in question being who she was, I'd rather see Hongwu then her.

No double posting has been hammered into me over time, and doing it just feels wrong. I try to avoid it if I can.

Can we just have a Baby Mao leaderhead?

Turkey is our first finalist!

Spoiler :
Turkey: 14 - 53,8%
China: 12 - 46,2%

Crap, I forgot Alfred. Unfortunately I don't have time to put him in right now, so just imagine he's there.
