2013 Mafia/NOTW Awards

Procedure:

- Each person may vote for as many players/games for as many awards as they wish.

- To vote, send me a PM.

- Vote for a player/game using the following format:


- You may NOT vote for yourself, a game you hosted, or a non-town team you were a part of. You are, however, allowed to vote for a town team you were a part of.

- After voting is closed, I will take the average of the mean and median scores for each candidate.

- The candidates are ranked in order of their new, "final" scores.

- You may use .5 intervals (1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, etc.)

- Due to the low number of nominations, every nominee is eligible for voting.

I suppose this is all the votes I'll get. I was hoping for more, but this is enough. I've already calculated everything, just need to post it. Final scores are the average of the mean and median of the scores given to each candidate.

Best Mafia Performance. "God's Servants" award - Awarded to the most impressive performance by a specific mafia/cult/serial killer team in a specific 2013 mafia/NOTW game.



Best Town Performance. "BLUFOR" award" award - Awarded to the most impressive performance by a specific town in a specific 2013 mafia/NOTW game.



Player Awards:


Most Enjoyable Player. "Askthepizzaguy" award - Awarded to the player who best demonstrated his/her ability to entertain his/her fellow players in mafia/NOTW games over the course of 2013.



Best All-Around Player. "BSmith1068" award - Awarded to the player who best demonstrated his/her superb ability in all facets of playing mafia/NOTW over the course of 2013.



Best Townie. "Visorslash" award - Awarded to the player who best demonstrated his/her superb ability playing on the side of the town/innocents over the course of 2013.



Best Scumbag. "Mergle" award - Awarded to the player who best demonstrated his/her superb ability playing on the side of the mafia/cult/serial killer over the course of 2013.



Best Contributor to Mafia/NOTW. "Zack" award - Awarded to the player who contributed the most to mafia and NOTW over the course of 2013.



Best Host. "Dreadnought" award - Awarded to the player who best demonstrated his/her superb ability in hosting mafia/NOTW games over the course of 2013.




Game Awards:


Most Enjoyable Game. "Team Fortress 2" award - Awarded to the game, of any size, which was the most enjoyable for its players in 2013.



Best Small Game. "Zack Mafia III" award - Awarded to the best small game in 2013.



Best Large Game. "Zack Mafia IV" award - Awarded to the best large game in 2013.



Best Setting/Storyline. "The DOOM Project" award - Awarded to the game with the best setting/story/writeups in 2013.

I was the best contributor and second best host and my game also got some cool awards!

Yep, I was finally dethroned for best contributor, which you should have won last year too. I don't think I really deserved the silver this year, BSmith or Visorslash would have been more deserving IMO.

FWIW, I had a chance to win every award except Best Small Game (I didn't host one). I finished with a gold or silver in every award I was a candidate for, though (6 gold and 5 silver in total). So a way, way better showing than I've made in previous years.
