Realpolitik of the Smoky Skies - The Reboot

Just wanted to pop in and say that a) people should do some voting and b) the elections will end tomorrow (12/3) afternoon.

Oh, right, we can vote ourselves.

I vote for myself in Pulias and... can I vote for Heerlo in Haven of Peace? I'm fairly sure that you can only vote in the city you're residing in, but since I'm apparently the only one running in Pulias, I might as well try. :D

Failing that, are there electable NPCs?

Yeah I'm unclear in this aswell :dunno:

Okay, so, voting-wise, you pick the two candidates (irregardless of location) that you want to vote for and post so in the thread. You can't vote for NPCs; they just get randomly generated at the end of the elections to fill up the legislature (and will always vote yes on orders, to keep things moving along.)

Oh, the reason I hadn't voted is because I thought the elections were done based on POPs' opinions of candidates. Very well.

My votes: Myself, for representative in Haven of Peace; Magnive, for representative in Pulias.

Btw, what are POPs for if they don't vote in elections? The OP talks about them voting. Did I just do all that campaigning for nothing?

Nevermind, question already answered by the Majah via Steam.

Votes: Coventry - Myself, Haven of Peace - Heerlo

Will the POPs vote for anyone not based in their city?

Hmm, hmm... I'm still trying to figure out this voting system, but... ahhh, I'm a mad scientist, I'll just go with my guts! I need to figure out how to get more funds so I can do more things in a turn, though...

My votes will be for Sir Parker II in Coventry, and Magnive in Pulias.

No. POPs vote for candidates in their own cities; players get to vote anywhere. It's in the interest of confusing the players balance, see...

Voting is now closed; votes are being tallied and will be posted shortly (tonight or tomorrow) here.

Election Results

Votes are tallied and, to the shock of no-one, Heerlo, Magnive, Silverman, and Sir Parker are our new members of the Legislature! A round of applause, I guess!

Now, I'm inclined, in all honesty, to not worry about generating NPC legislators right now because there isn't much point - they'd only slow down the game. I can, however, set up some NPCs if people would like.

Personally I like the idea of NPCs but I don't care all that much if someone else would rather we not :) also congrats to all Legislatures!

I don't care either way.

So, now the Legislature must elect a Prime Minister, right?

Well...I guess that the 3P will announce Silverman6083 as their candidate for the Prime Minister Position.

I totally did not expect you to be the candidate for the 3P. :crazyeye:

Ahah yeah but no one was saying anything and I'd rather have this not die out sooooo just thought id put that out there :crazyeye:

I've sent a PM to Sir Parker regarding forming a government, but if he hasn't replied by tomorrow (I'm European, keep in mind), I'll try something else.
