Monthly Competition Aug-Sept 2015

Hi gang. I had a long, humorous intro for this month's contest all written, but what the hell, we haven't had a good competition in a while, so let's just get to it, eh?

First, the pcx category had just one entry each in August and September. So I take a point of privilege to acknowledge those two winners. They are:

Frazetta-style Barsoomian Cities and The Time Machine spaceship alternative, both by Blue Monkey (design) and Balthasar (graphics). Please check them out if you haven't seen them already.


Now! onto the Unit Contest Category:
This month (i.e., September) we have two Excellent units to vote on! They are:

Balam-Agab - Napoleonic Camel Corps

AnthonyBoscia, Ares de Borg, Delta_Strife - Flakpanzer Gepard

So it now stands 1:1. I voted for Tony´s Flakpanzer Gepard (so Balam-Agab´s unit is very interesting, too ). Please have a look at that outstanding attack animation of the Flakpanzer.

I voted for the Napoleonic Camel Corps, but my God that was a tough decision - two excellent units

Hmm... I really would like to vote for both.

But since I can not do that, I have voted for Balam-Agab.

Those are both lovely units!

only five hours left to vote today..

I like both, but particularly like how the camel ducks when the unit is firing the gun, so that one gets my vote.

Congratulations, Balam-Agab, on your second Monthly Competition win this year! Your Napoleonic Camel Corps unit has been listed in the Competitions Hall of Fame and will compete in the next Unit of the Year contest. My thanks to AnthonyBoscia, Ares de Borg, and Delta_Strife for entering their Flakpanzer Gepard, which I thought was an extraordinarily well done unit with alot more going on than one expects to see on a tank. I truly hope to see more like these in the contest!
