Mafia Hosting Queue

2016


If you wish to host a game, request a spot on the appropriate queue in this thread along with the game’s name.

You are allowed a maximum of two games on each queue, with at least five people between each game.​



Large Game​
  • Any game with more than 20 players.
  • These types of games belong on the Large Game Queue (located in post #2 of this thread).
  • Only one Large Game can be run at a time.
  • If you are next on the queue, you may open sign-ups before the current Large Game ends, so that your game can start once the current one finishes.

Small Game​
  • Any game with 11 - 20 players.
  • These types of games belong on the Small Game Queue (located in post #2 of this thread).
  • Generally, only one Small Game can be run at a time.
  • If you are next on the queue, you may open sign-ups before the current Small Game ends, so that your game can start once the current one finishes.

Mini Game​
  • Any game with 10 or fewer players.
  • These types of games do not have to be placed on any queue.
  • There is no limit to the number of concurrent mini games.
  • You may start a mini game any time you like.
 
Large Game Queue​

  • The Legend of Zelda: Shadow of Hyrule, hosted by Askthepizzaguy and wideyedwanderer. ATPG is using this spot for his current game.
  • Martin's Lil' Mystery, hosted by MartinLuther. MartinLuther hasn't been seen in a few months.
  • Tempus Fugit, hosted by Arakhor. On the NOTW queue, and Arakhor never actually specified that he wanted to move it here.
 
Putting Futurama on the large queue. I will host a large Futurama game after all these years, damn it!

There's no way in hell League of Evil Two is going to be ready after ATPG's game finishes unless it takes like three months- put it at the bottom of the queue for now.
 
Is the NotW queue still functioning at this point? Moreover, Tempus Fugit is even less like what I'm told a NotW game is than Masque of Death was.
 
Yeah, Backwards does a great job of keeping it up-to-date. And there have been plenty of unconventional NOTWs which weren't even fantasy (e.g. Impending Retribution, Doom Project, Return to Ciretako).
 
Return to Ciretako had less in common with a typical NOTW game than some non-NOTW games have had in common with typical NOTW games; it had roles for everyone, Strength, and Items, but no PG's, no public roles, no roleplaying, and no fantasy setting. I remember back when the NOTW's were 90% set in the Fall From Heaven Universe, but Autolycus and Sprig are pretty much the only ones who still hold to that. By my count, only 3 of the first 42 were not set in FFH (the exceptions being Backwards Logic's games and landlubber's Night of the Mindworms), while 8 of the last 13 have been set outside it.
 
Breeland is ready, though I'm fairly busy. If anyone wants to jump ahead in the queue they should. If not I'll open signups after ATPG's game ends
 
Futurama's ready and I can host it anytime. And as much as I want to host it, I rushed into NSP3 and felt really good about the setup, which ended up being not-so-great, so it probably wouldn't hurt to give Futurama some more time for me to tinker with the setup. Breeland's been on the queue for almost a year, and I've hosted my share of games recently, so I don't want to impose on you spaceman.

The war ended, but it did not bring peace. Tensions between the victors run hot, and a civil war is brewing. After their defeat, Faramir, Pippen, and Aragorn left the country. Their location and goals are unclear, though the influence of their spies and agents spreads like wildfire.

Minas Tirith has no true ruler. The new Jedi Order stakes its claim as the ruling body of Middle-earth, but they are faced by opposition, infiltration, and corruption at every turn. Disillusioned Force users have forsworn the Jedi Order and formed their own institution. There are whispers of a resurgent Sith, intent on destroying the Jedi and seizing power.

The bubble is about to burst.

Mechanically, it will be most similar to None Shall Pass 2, though still fairly unique and different.
 
Impressive. You're a Mafia-making machine!
 
My plan for None Shall Pass 3 went through a few iterations, and this is based off one of those iterations.
 
Unless anyone in front of me on the queue objects, I will open sign-ups for a mostly vanilla largeish game tomorrow, as it's been awhile since Pizza's game ended.
 
I was planning to open Breeland signups when Tempus Fugit ended (yeah I know its a NOTW but still a large game in play), but finals are hitting me hard, so go ahead
 
Quarter System. I have finals coming up soon, too.
 
I'd like to add a largish game to the list, provisionally entitled Nightfang.
