Note: These are not landmark terrain, they are all regular terrain modifications.

I have added some heavier grass to a few tiles on the grassland, just to add variety to the landscape.

I have also added a second xggc file to the 3rd post that has both the heavier grass and the bluffs.

So first xggc is just the grass upgrade, second xggc has both changes shown in these pictures.

I have made the modification over-sized on the tiles. You can see if you use an irrigation like Zeb's that the grass surrounds the irrgation. The other reason I made them over sized is so when two of them meet they will overlap and depending on the direction they meet will determine the pattern, this should give the impression that alot more tiles were modded.

Also you can see that when it shows up in a mountain valley that it seems to blend in fine.

BTW, this is a modification to Snoopy's standard terrain.

Great idea. I've been Puzzling over the uniformity issue too - both plains and desert need the same kind of help...

Not bad. The shoreline seems a bit "wonky" though. I think it just needs to be smoothed out a bit. And maybe add a bit of brown or grey to the cliff face to make it look more like rock or dirt. What do you think?

Wonky? I have never heard that before. :)

I think it looks great. Adds variety.

I just mean that the grassland shore should meet the beach shore in a better way. Right now it looks like an indent in the map rather than a cliff. I like it too, but there is always room for improvement (and Jello). ;)

Wonky = not solid, not straight, squiggly, crooked, etc... :)

It's just an issue of detailing. The bluff in the SE portion of that last sample looks great, the one on the west side has that 'indent' look.

Ah I see what you mean
