That has to be the best example of picture editing I've ever seen...

Thanks for the compliment!!!! I don't usually have much time to participate in this thread, but when I do I try to make it good. (I do a lot of Photoshop at work so I'm very familiar with the program).

I agree with homeyg.
It's not exactly my kind of humor and I usually don't vote if I've entered the competition, but this is surely high quality editting.

Q: How in Photoshop do you make this "ancient painting look" on the chef's face ?

Thanks! I believe I used the "add noise" filter. Gaussian, monochromatic, and I adjusted the range to match the existing painting. It probably wouldn't work as well if the image was high-res, but at this low-res that's all it needed. Also remember, dodge and burn are your friends. And always use a brush with about a 90% hardness (just a little fuzzy edge) as your eraser - that blends the edges much better with the background for a seamless cut-and-paste job. (P.S. - I have Photoshop Elements 2.0 at home - a much cheaper, somewhat dumbed down, but still very functional version of the full blown Photoshop)

And I meant no offense by tampering with sacred images. I was joking in the same vein as the Last Supper scene in Mel Brooks' "The History of the World Part 1"

Fear that you or Reno would decide to post an image here.
