This has been a "rule" from day one. It was NEVER meant to discourage anyone from posting an entry here! The basic thought on this rule was to make it so that individuals wouldn't just add a few anime (aka ANY "animated" characters, please note that "anime" will refer to "any animated characters") without making any point to thier entry. We want them funny, and if you'd like to add "anime" to your entry you are welcome to do so, in fact it has been done, BUT please make sure that there is some "point or objective" to them.
You must remember that people (not unlike myslef) may not understand all the "anime" characters out there. So simply adding "anime" without any point or objective kinda takes away from the entry.
Like I said "anime" in itself is not against the rules, more so that entries with with no "point or objective" is the BIG "no-no". Perhaps I'd better "revise" that to read a bit better.
@All submitters...I'll leave the current contest open until tomorrow (Friday) in hopes of a few more submissions! Also, if you haven't voted for the "What's that?" entries please get your vote in now!

Well, that, and I was planing on a series of Post-War based Avatars featuring the armies of the various nations. This just happened to be my first field-test of the sprites.
(They're all thaken from the SNES game Cannon Fodder, which I have on my emulator, and then modifieed for my own purposes)
Edit: My current Av is one of these, I which I have leigons of Initiates marching to war.
