It's looking quite good... perhaps you should try making it look less "plastic-ish" (making the statue not so bright, and more marble-like), and giving the whole splash pic a better perspective (having the tree in a lower position, as if the statue is over some kind of platform, so the obelisc looks taller and more realistic as well)

Civilopedia entry
La Revolución (The Revolution in Spanish) is the wonder of the Cuban Revolution in 1956 that has defeated the dictador Batista and installed a new dictadorship. The main leaders were Che Guevara and Fidel Castro, a man who was not socialist and just has used this way of production to challenge United States of America. URSS, the main Socialist country in the World in that time gave to Cuba millions of dollars to do Socialist propaganda in the American continent, turn the country one of the most advanced in Central America. The most dramatic episodie that happened in Cold War Times was in 1962, when URSS has pointed Nuclear Missiles to USA using Cuba like base. Today Cuba surfer a American trade embargo, too many people try to escape from this island and it is one of the oldest dictadorship in the World.

wonder: Momumento de Cristóvão Colombo
Download: http://www.civfanatics.net/uploads8/Monumento.zip
Civilopedia entry: The Monumento de Cristóbal Colombo (Columbus Momument in Spanish) was build in 1990 in Santo Domingo, capital of Dominican Republic, Carib. It is the newest great monument in that city that has the first university in the Americas, the first church and other "first" momuments. When Columbus arrived in Americas, he arrived in Dominican Republic island, there born Santo Domingo city, the first European settlement in the New World.

The name Cristóvão is the Portuguese version of Cristóbal (Spanish), my mistake

What it is: A important fort in Oregon, USA. It was used in the march to the west and in the war and supplies against the enemies of America. Please, I need more information about this wonder (a civilopedia entry), if anyone wants to do that.

One thing about the Saint Thomas Port Picture... The Boats... they're.. not below the waterline! Any of them! Look.. .you can see the entire rudder on the Galleon there ... :p

Actually his right name was Cristoforo Colombo, an he was italian, not spanish.

I know, but the momument lies in a country that speaks Spanish, for this reason the momument has the teh Spanish version of his name :)

For the other comments, thanks fellows!!! :goodjob:

Where do we put these in the game Civ? I already have Rufus' Columbus' Voyage btw, do I replace it with yours or? Don't forget the Haida Totem City btw.....

Nice job!

St Thomas Port (pirate port) replaces Ciudad de la Tortugas, I think this port is just a fantasy one in that movies about pirates. Fort Bridger replaces The Alamo. Momumento de Cristóbal Colombo replaces Universidad de Santo Domingos

BTW, what is the adjective of the people who born in US Virgin Islands? American Virgin Islands?
