The Enhanced roads

Great job. Nice to see a little style in the presentation too.

I will change my roads file to use yours.

BTW, those are my modified irrigation (with lots of credit to Niessuh) in the top two pictures, not Zebs.

Edit: So everyone knows the original file you are modifying was done by Overseas.

yeah ^^ the irrigation was from your archieve. sorry i stand corrected, thats how it is to b a noob.. thanx for tryin them.. might do some more work on the roads later on.
I had some unsuccesful attempts to add a tree or two.. around the houses.. however id like to make like stone roads on the few tiles with dense house concentration. it will give the cities a more metropolitian aspect if it works. I was actually thinking to try to add the stone roads you made, but laziness overcame me. and I had to try a game with the roads to see..
I also discovered why the original enhanced road didnt have buildings on the single roads file looked very strange someplaces.. I really like the effect of construction tile.. like if u build a road on one tile that is not linked to any other tile.. yet..
BTW I loved the global warming thermometer ...stylished.

Also I recomend using the mines and construction from pounders because the mines are tall and more easily seen if you use the enhanced roads .. as they clearly sticks up over the building making it a more industrial look.. not good for early age campaigns. very good for middle age and later..

the only think I find wrong with this is that is you build your roads right you get Factories in the Ancient Era.
