CapNES2: The New Shuffle

WTH?

There's a god**** player in Ethiopia, isn't there? 2 divisions lost? For ETHIOPIA?!? Capulet, give me back my legions!

I did too spend my industry points! ... *shuffle shuffle* waitasecond...
mfff, me make a mistake like THAT?

Here is the PM I sent you back directly after you PM'ed me about not being able to spend industry on economy in the same turn. I clearly remember sending it before the deadline and I can provide a date... oh well, might as well do it now... June 14'th 8.17 AM

the post you're thinking of is June 13'th 10.46 AM

Thanks for putting it so directly and quickly, many mods don't answer until the next update. :)
I hope you didn't delete your PM's... if not I'll send you my password so you can check out my 'sent items'.
Ah heck, I can trust you. I'll just change it all afterwards...
hmmm wait, that might be foolish

aaah I'll take the risk

Spend the six industry points on UU SDN defenders! They're basically elite Home Guard troops who're all about never giving an inch of SDN ground should we be attacked.
Sacrifice two eco. levels for a total of 15 eco. points.
Spend one point on education (to Academic).
Spend 14 points on industry.

If Parliament does not allow this radical growth of industry which I reason that we need to build because the industrialized countries are the ones that incarnate might (I point to Britain) then I want them to spend another point on education as long as we end up with 12 industry so we can buy two economy per turn which I'm sure they'll agree with.

Nation Background: Also known as SDN, this Bernadottian empire is one of the most advanced and prosperous nations of the world. It is a great power, if not of British scope, but that mostly means that it will have to fight against jealous neighbhors and the rising tide of Finnish and German nationalism alike if it is to remain such.

You can't grow economy and spend two eco. levels in the same turn. So I'll just spend the two eco. levels.

But what to do with the ind. points?

I've provided you with an edited password should you wish to check. :)

Now please tell us, why the hell would we want to do that?

So what are your respective responses to my offer earlier?

We agreed to your alliance and the Platine Republic did not.

(Peruvian Empire is a PC Country)

Toteone, I just saw the PM you sent in which you said to increase UUs. I thought it was a quote of your previous orders and a mistake... but it wasn't. I'll add your units.

yay! ;)
thankee

arghhh, you noticed my +3 economy though (oh well most likely you would've next turn anyway)

You can only spend max of 4 points on any given type of military...

Crap. You're right.

Toteone, I'll spend the other two points on navy.

Hey, thanks. :) I did read that one, but I forgot about it.
Navy is perfect with me.

How do I get an airforce/when can I get an airforce? Do I have to make a project for it or just wait it out until the next age?
thnx

Also, surely their training will get screwed by suddenly levying so many troops out of their land. Also, i don't recall scandinavia having htat high of a population compared to the rest of the world... Plus, they're not at war so the population will wonder why the hell they're being drafted all of a sudden, since there should be no way they're all volunteers.

Well, I'm being somewhat lenient on the first turn. Let's see how he handles it.

Cap, I grew my education twice so it should be academic but it's only well educated...

and who is playing peruvian empire?

You only have two economy points per turn, so you can only raise education once.

It's no problem capulet, the things i wanted grown as grown. But any chance of getting the other 2 industry points on army ;)

A word to the world--Anyone found supporting the Ethiopian terrorists will be shot. Survivors will be shot again.

Capulet: Don't suppose it'd be possible to take Gran Columbia off your hands?

Even better, you can have the USA.

And here I was thinking I might need to limit my ambitions. ;) I'll take it. Anything I need to know other than the listing on the front page?

Not really.

The great square of Tehran was packed. Despite the hot climate, the square was filled with people, all standing to save room as well as getting a better view of the podium. The audience consisted of people from across Persia, and even foreign nations. There was clearly a feeling of anticipation in the air. The people were all excited, and much talk can be heard amongst them. That is, until the Emperor of Persia stood on the podium. In that instant, all conservations died and all eyes were trained on the stage.

"Proud people of Persia, today is the day you have all been waiting for. The day when all our efforts at modernization will finally bear fruit. After today, Persia will no longer be regarded as a nation who relies on the Europeans. Before I make this announcement, however, I would like to share with you our situations, both past and present.
From the ancient times, Persia has been a dominant power in the Middle East and Central Asia. We have fought off foreign invaders numerous times. Those who conquered our land did not hold it for long. Beginning in the last hundred years or so, however, Persia was at the brink of elimination.
How did this happen, one might ask. How did an Empire so large and so powerful be in such danger? The answer, my citizens, lies within us. We are a proud nation, and have the right to be so. This feeling of pride over the many years, however, has turned into headstrongness that repulsed change. The result? While other nations around us share their knowledge and technology, Persia was left behind and would have fallen prey to European expansion sooner or late.
Fortunately, that was not the case. As you all know, my forefathers have recognized this danger and worked to restore Persia to its former glory. They have managed to save Persia from the hands of the Russians, and along the way recaptured much land that was rightfully ours. They have set the stage for what will happen today. As such, it is to my pleasure and honor to be able to finish today what they have started years ago. Citizens of Persia, I hereby proclaim Empire of Persia as a constitutional nation!......"

When the speech was finished, chaos broke out. That is, chaos from the thousands of overjoyed individuals all trying to express their feelings in a tightly packed square.
