how to change my border color

I'm new at this and I probably didint look anough in the tutorials.

I'm wondering ...... I hate this white border the game puts on for every civ I choose!

How can that be changed!?

The white border on what? the cultural borders?

assets->XML->Civilizations->civilizationinfos and each civ has a tag
<defaultplayercolor>PLAYERCOLOR_BLUE</defaultplayercolor>

or a different color and just change that.

When I try to save the file after I alter it, it says its unable to do so. :mad:
