One more WWII aircraft, and this time it is, i think many will agry, one of the most unusual and bizarre looking german airplanes - Dornier Do 335. At first glance one may think that it's some kind of flying torpedo with attached wings :) Anyway, despite it's strage design it was quite successful machine, though not many were produced due to engine deliveries delay before end of war.
Model is about 1200 polys, animated, including propellers, rear and front.
If anyone has troubles adding new unit to the game - refer to this great guide

Hi Nautil,

I've been enjoying integrating your planes for my WWII-ETO mod... these models just get better and better.

I also enjoy the mix of "famous" and "flavor" planes. I always thought the Do 335 was a really ingenious thing, and I'm glad to see it "taking off" for Civ III.

Bravo!

Ah yes, perhaps the fastest prop-driven aircrat ever. It's been added into Il-2 a few weeks ago, and it is a tricky aircraft to use, but when used corectly its invincible.

What could this be? A cheaper jet-fighter?

The Do 335 went 470 something at 20,000 feet, and the ta-152(or the 153 or 154) went 470 something at higher altitudes. Maybe the Ta-152 would be a good plane to model.

even if it was a little dusty here, i linked this model also to the mosquito animation, so now the model has two turning props (but both the same way). Because of this (and i´m lazy) it drops a bomb when attacking ground targets. It´s still nautils model, so give him the credits.

The animation can be found here: http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=9154

Nothing wrong with that, The Coyote. It will be much appreciated. :) I can't stand non-animated props in Civ 4...
