Actually plenty, I'm just finishing the crow's nests (which you can't seee in the attached previews but eh), then there'll be some rigging, ropes (you can see I'm starting the ropes that connect the bowsprit to the fore-mast) and jib sails left before animation.
Sails have taken longer because instead of making one sail and duplicating it (what I did with the original Trident), I'm individually making each sail, this means its much easier to make sails unique (as they should be) but takes more time just to calculate out each sail's positions. With other boats this wasn't significant because they only had about 4 or 5 sails, this thing has 17 and still needs at least 3 jib sails. Luckily render time isn't taking much of a beating with this.

This thing is way OVER a ship of the line, a 1st Rate (highest rating) ship of the line has 100 guns, this has over 150. The turrets actually never existed on sailing wooden ships, they had fore and aft 'castles' (which looked a lot more like castles earlier on) but no turrets for these castles. The idea here is, this is the ultimate sailing ship, so its big enough that turrets for these castles were a good idea.
And yes Stormrage, it is huge, according to the statistics (of my invention) it's as long as the Titanic.

That's bizarre, the animation stored where I put everything together had the same problem, but not the animation I had in the zip archive which should have (theoretically) been what you uploaded. Anyways, I've zipped just the death animation and attached it here. Someday I gotta re-render this thing with my updated standards and align it properly.

Thanks a lot, Orthanc. I had that problem with the death animation when I downloaded the Fluyt in the past and today when I downloaded the Rise of the Mugals 2 there was the same problem with the death animation of the Fluyt again.

Weird, the uploaded file is fine, just checked it myself. You did overwrite the old file with the new one right?

Yes, it was really weird. I found out what happened. If I open the death animation with flicster I see the static Default-SW picture and the same picture if I take another viewing direction.
But when I touch the frame delay button in flicster in any direction, I got the true death animation of the Fluyt. The frozen picture of the Fluyt comes to live and the ship sinks like wild. So there was a mistake by me (or a problem in flicster ?). Thank you for your help Orthanc.

Orthanc, when your done your current projects, could you make a ship like this one?
I tried to make one in Open FX (Nowhere near your's though) but I got stuck in the rendering/animating/flicster part.
I could show you my attempt at it if you wish...
Edit: LOl, just saw GoldFlash earlier had post a request with a pic of a ship from the same game (The Pirate Barbary galley). Do you play that Goldflash?
