Soda I - Jumping to Monarch

Well, since Jumping to Prince, I'm usually beat prince level with quite ease.
Now, I want to apply the same method to go Monarch. In addition, I would like to play as Cyrus as I never played with the presians before.
Also, I'm active in only one SG in this forum and I have alot of free time :lol:

Game's Settings:
Game: Vinilla Civ,
Leader: Cyrus of Persia,
Map: Pangea\Tilted Axis\Continents (TBD),
Difficulty Level: Monarch (doh :crazyeye: ),
Game Speed: Epic,
Victory Conditions: All.

Everyone are invited, ones which havent defeted monarch yet and those who have. Once we'll have a roster i'll play the first 30 turns.

Why not simply join SGOTM2? Would be good fun and is on Monarch as well... Tho no Cyrus...

I would join in on Cyrus, but I am a bit strained for time and involved in to many SGs allready :(

Thanks namliaM, I wont join SGOTM2 because in my opinion SGOTM's draws the players from the SG forum and get them too busy to play normal SG, plus its boring that everyone are playing the same game :lol:
 
lurker's comment: Well, since you shouldnt be looking at other games while you are playing it.... You simply dont know that they are playing the same game....

After the game is over, you can go thru the other games and see/learn what other people did. Very big learning thing for me...

Plus its a 'competition' and I am allways in for a little of that :)
 
I'd like to join. I have yet to win on Monarch, but I'm playing a game atm that I think I'll win. This would be my first SG too :)

Well, I WOULD throw myself into the fire, but with school startin' up again here soon (of which I still have to read a 300 page book in two days that I really don't wanna read), and my recent acquisition of Warlord's, I'm really not sure if I'll have the time.

If there's still an open slot by (earliest) thursday then I might be able to join.

Either that or I will be lurking and learning.

Any specific victory type, or is this a just win thing?

To be really honest, I am brand new to any civilization game. I have played civ IV for a month now solo. I can beat noble level and am eagerly wanting to play an sg since reading these forums. I would like to sign up. I am definately one who wants to learn especially from the expert players and I think this is an excellent oppurtunity. I would also have to learn (and will learn through whatever means) how to download the files from the game to this server.

I have read much of Sullla's sg experience on this message board. I love his format and I will shamelessly mimic his style. :crazyeye:

So if you care to help a newbie along, I would love to join.

I think i would move 1 W with the Warrior to see what's over that way, but barring anything special, I would settle on the spot.

Threw my hat in the ring in the registration thread, then saw you here as well.

Is there one space left still? If so, I'll join if you'll take me. As I said in the other thread, I'm in the SGOTM02 with Gypsy Kings. I've just recently breezed through a second Prince game, so both Monarch games are right up my street.
