There'll probably be more errors on this one, since I picked it back up after a month.

You know, starting after this, I'm going to host images on Imageshack, since the whole having to rename the file from "attachment.php.png" whenever you download it is starting to get on my nerves.

In 450 CE, the Southern Dynasty was Liu Song under Wen Di. The Jin collapsed in 420 CE.

Right. The map doesn't need to be changed, though... Just the dynasty name. :p

Just occurred to me I haven't uploaded this... Right then, blank world map, latest addition (I suppose the big thing is the new Galapagos):

Why do Hellas and Denmark always look really bad on Jason maps? Is it because you need to have space to label a city?

Hey! That's MY Hellas you're insulting! :p

It's largely because they're far too fine to do very precisely on a map of this scale. Of course, the need to actually be able to fit cities on the map is a part of it.

[Tooting Own Horn] You could not use black for sea borders so it's possible to see cities even on small islands. [/Tooting Own Horn]

Light blue looks just as bad. To be honest, I've been contemplating just throwing out sea borders on my random maps altogether.

Black does stand out against it though, so it's quite possible to see cities in say, the Philippines, which is a very big problem on, for example, that Khmeria map I posted in the other thread. That's its chief advantage, I think.

The problem is that when you want to place cities on, say, the Isle of Man or the Balearic islands, they take up the entire island--and you can't fit the nation color on the island in addition.

This is why the gods invented... um... I don't know. It's why we just tell people who's where.

Referring to Farport?
Well, it is annoying that I can't tell if my cities are eco centers, but I was more referring to the various cities (from Eire, Eirehann, League of the True Irish) that have been on the Isle of Man in JalNES.
