Conclusion
Tephen
Well the country has been in peace much of its existence. The barbarian raids once again restart as a new charismatic leader in the north rises up. A fierce border war ignites as Tephen seeks revenge. They advance several miles into the enemy territory defeating the warlord and destroying his power. However, the leader manages to not only put up stiff resistance but inflicts heavy casualties. Unfortunately he is caught by a stray arrow and died so his following quickly collapsed. Tephen enforced her rule upon the nearby tribes allied with the warlord.
Tephen has become a quiet power largely overshadowed by their neighbor Terria Trifluenita. In the next age of man they will become a power to be reckoned with and may even one day challenge their greatest ally Terra Trifluentia.
Terra Trifluentia
Terra Trifluentia goes through an era of peace and prosperity as the country expands its influence and power across the lands. However, the growth of Terra Trifluentia has met problems particularly in the Curia as many Patriarchs work for their homelands rather then the greater good of the country. The government is increasingly growing decentralized but faith holds it together. The Patriarchs have begun a massive increase in the building of Universities for Bureaucrats.
There are truly three great cities in the world that have more influence than anything else. These cities are Neptanian, Patria and Waterside. Many of these cities are centers of faith and culture stemming its influence far beyond its own borders. Now the reason I mention this is because the city of Patria has grown to become the most powerful city in the world. It has the largest population and some of the greatest government buildings. Architects from a far away as T’lur Pa are attracted to help construct the the expansion of the Curia Patriarch government building. New districts are being added to hold new Patriarchs.
Population growth is on the rise. In the fertile plains between the three rivers an empire is on the rise. This empire will dominate the cradle for many years but its greatest strength the Curia Patriarch may be its greatest weakness. Perhaps if run responsibly by the Patriarchs it will not be a weakness.
(+1 culture, +1 confidence, +1 education)
Sky Gods
In the mountainous regions of the north these people have become a center piece in cradle history. Their tombs have literally written their history in stone. As conqueres when unified with Taruq they brought many kingdoms to their knees. Thousands died and chaos was brought to the center of the cradle. They in a way set the path for the power of Terra Trifluentia in the west but also changed history in the far northern regions. As thousands of refugees flee the chaos and destruction to the north to found the nation of Keelah.
They continue to loot and plunder. The plains to the west are now falling victim to the Sky Gods as these fierce warriors expand their empire. The Sky Gods realizing the chaos created by their own doing is not beneficial to the empire. A series of vassals are planning to be established starting with Attika. A mountain fortress overlooking the plains in the west built into the side of a mountain is built. This is only the beginning of a growing presence of the Sky Gods in the west.
The Sky Gods are still a threat and will forever be a threat to the peace within the cradle.
Taruq
Taruq is reestablishing itself as a military power in the light of its defeat further north. They unleashed their fury on Carran destroying what remains of it. However, since the capital surrendered the ruler of Taruq showed mercy. He established the city as vassal states forcing it to pay one EP a turn.
Taruq is greedily eyeing neighboring territories either outright destroying them or forcing them to pay tribute. One thing is for sure Taruq will not be a memory of the past anytime soon.
Dilhava
The nation of Dilhava is wracked by religious turmoil as Bhatoists are outraged that Dilhava did nothing to help their allies. Now Bhatoists begin massacring the Fizcathian Atheists in revenge. Much of the southern countryside falls into revolt. Eventually the government reestablishes order but can do little to stop the vicious killing of Fizcathian Atheists.
Within nearly a decade they are wiped out or flee from Dilhava. Spurred on by hate messages sent by religious leaders. Similar events happen in T’lur Pa but not to the same extent as in Dilhava.
Seeking protection a small band of Fizcathian Atheists flee Dilhava into the mountains in the west founding a small refuge for Fizcathain Atheists. The nation is called Ashaylia named after the city of Ashayl home of the famous Purple Cloaks.
Now back towards Dilhava itself. Dilhava establishes three new cities across its empire. Also, Dilhava helps negotiate a peace between the crusaders and Fizcat, however, many refuse to surrender. Much of the Bhatoists civilians are evacuated to their homelands along with surrendering troops. However, the mad general manages to convince part of his army to go on his daring plan.
Embassies are established across the Great Sea with Hawks as the personal guards. Dilhava also establishes an ethics code called the Code of Dashito which helps establish a strong respect for the merchants from Dilhava.
Dilhava is well on its way to inheriting the lead of the Bhatoist League but because of its failure to have a tough stance on protecting her allies lost much prestige. Things may change though unless Neptanian faces a huge revival.
T’lur Pa
T’lur Pa is growing to great power as the arts and culture thrives during the Golden Age. Science and technologies are being worked on at an ever increasing pace. Even Bhatoist scholars flock to Waterside to record and store the great writings of the faith where it will be safe.
More and more T’lurrians are becoming wealthy and the merchant class is thriving as exotic furs are imported from her colonies.
The country faces some challenges with almost constant border raids from the chaos to the west. This does little, however, to hinder the progress of the country.
An exploration to the southeast is started pushing far down river but the source of the river is not discovered.
Well the Wells of the Ages are a vast collection of knowledge nothing to on the face of the planet compares to it. The city of Waterside is a mixing of culture and religious belief. Thousands flock to this city creating an ethnically diverse world with minorities from all over the Great Sea and even as far as Terra Trifluentia.
Not all is good in the lands of T’lur Pa. Fighting has been breaking out between Fizcathian Atheists and Bhatoists constantly. These incidents may be minor but as the religious minorities grow it could grow to a scale seen in Dilhava.
A few barbarian states join Tampla after being persuaded to do so
The Conclusion of the Bhatoist Crusades
The Bhatoists Crusades simply put were a disaster but they had some much unintended impacts on the spread of Bhatoism. Shortly after the conquest several of Neptania’s core territories with huge Bhatoists populations something began to happen. Bhatoists are merchants as most of the people live on islands. Within an occupation 50 years large minorities of Bhatoists began to form in Tereno’s coastal cities despite the government’s opposition.
In the nation of Ilion within the Nos nations huge Bhatoists minorities also begin to form along the coastlines. Now Tereno has a choice to go down the path of religious toleration or to be open but they may be overrun by Bhaotists if such a thing were to be allowed. For now Bhatoists are allowed to freely practice within the borders of Tereno.
The future of the nation of Fizcat looks bleak. Even with a victory and a quick one at that Fizcat’s capital was in mortal danger. The defenders knew they could not hold and immediately began to rip the city apart. Fizcat was sacked. The army was facing starvation and a particularly determined enemy. The general managed through a string of victories over Fizcat to the border regions. He makes an alliance with some local chieftans which allow him to cross the mountain regions to flee Fizcat. However, by the time they make it across they only have 1/6 of their army remaining and perhaps 500 civilians mostly female (slaves). They found a new nation of Bhatonia on the distant lakes.
Fizcathians reoccupy a land destroyed and looted. There are an estimated 2000 people alive in the barren landscape. Fizcathians in a huge effort rebuild a small village on Fizcat’s ruins. The government relocates to the area to begin reconstruction. Various allied soldiers help reestablish order but they were too late to stop the made general and his rampage.
Ilion
Ilion goes through integrating her new territories but experiences a bit of a cultural boost from a patriotic swell.
First lets begin with the Nos and Vlakan territories which are being successfully brought within the nation. The Nos people are culturally and ethnically related to the Ilionians but they are different in one major way. The Ilionians are a very strict society while the Nos states are a little more lax in their societal structure. It will take much time before the peoples adjust to this new system.
The Vlakan lands have been abandoned by the Vlakan when they begin to migrate to the west. Now Ilion settlers begun to settle forming villages across the vast new territories.
Now a new resurgence of pride within the state begins to emerge with the ending of the plague and vast territories added to Ilion. A birth of literature and stories depicting the glory of the state and ones responsibility to sacrifice everything for it.
Tereno
(See Above for the Bhatoists movement)
The nation is now the supreme ruler of the seas with this comes a boom in trade which has spread Tereno’s influence. As the ships rule the waves and oversea aid of Fizcat the country has a great reputation.
Great cities are now once again trade centers as the Great Bhatoist Crusade comes to an end. Some expansion takes place all over in the colonies and on the mainland.
Tereno can be a great power but its power still could easily be challenged by Ilion and T’lur Pa if conflict were to ever occur.
Holy Bhatoist Empire
The Holy Bhatoists Empire with its defeat now turned into a more pacifist society. More then half of the military was disbanded and the money saved reinvested into expanding the fleet. The country is planning to rebuild a large fleet to protect the home islands. A few Bhatoist states join this new empire as their armies have been absolutely decimated along with their armies.
Hyoln
Hyoln goes through a period of a complete change compared to what they use to be. The Council orders the military to destroy the Vlakan. They do attack but the Vlakan just flee further west. The territory s captured with minimal losses.
Keeleh
The Kee people are reborn as the country goes through an era of expansion and exploration with generous funding from the government. Contact with the Ishukon states is also established.
The Kee people are like with the states of Ishukon to become a power mercantile empire in the regions of the north.
United Factions of Ishukon
A group of three mercantile guilds in the northern, cooler islands in the north arose united around the city of Ishukon. They often fought in the past but found it much more beneficial to work together.
Huming
This kingdom is in a different cradle becoming quite a power within turns. However, the lands are fertile and with few enemies this was not a challenge. Huming does face challenges with more city-states rumored to exist and now with ever increasing frequency barbarian warlords to the east. For now Huming is at peace and expanding rapidly.
Contact with Keeland to the south is made and exploration has begun with the claiming of two nearby islands. Many other islands are rumored to be up further north.
OCC: Andis are you still playing? If you are then I will include you in the BT.
How I want BT orders to include possible city names (at least 15), possible successor states, and of course the path you want your nation to follow.
Alex, I will have your nation invade Shanxi during the BT if that is alright. It was really hard for me to NPC a war that would have lasted over a turn.
I did some awards really quick. My first time doing them so hopefully they are fair. If not you will have another chance next IT
Awards for the first IT
Player Awards
Most Active Player – Birdjaguar
Although, many other players sent orders and posted often Birdjaguar always sent quality orders and wrote many stories.
Least Active Player – Swissempire
Stayed for a couple updates then disappeared.
Most Inquisitive Player – Birdjaguar
Birdjaguar, sent to me by far the most questions. Mainly the Wells of Ages and his secret UU.
Most Underrrated – Justorke
He always sent good orders and often criticized me for forgetting to change minor details in his stats. Unfortunately the Sky Gods unleashed most of their fury upon his nation utterly destroying him.
Most Cunning Player – North King
His arranged marriage with Taruq shocked everyone. His warrior horse culture sacked several cities and completely destroyed a kingdom. Probably some of the best orders from him came during this time. He despite losing the war managed to not lose any territory.
Best Orders – North King
His orders were easy to read and often had maps detailing expansion or war maneuvers. A close second place would probably be Ilion but they did not send orders as often.
Best Stories – Silver Steak, Birdjaguar
Silver Steak often had some very good stories about his religion which I mostly enjoyed. However, I also have to give it to Birdjaguar for the simple fact they were creative and just as good.
Nation Awards
Greatest Power- Terra Trifluentia
This nation economically and militarily dominates the original cradle. During the BT they are destined to become a massive empire. Not only that they with their coalition managed to bring down the monster that was the Greater Empire of the Sky Lands and Taruq
Largest Nation – Greater Empire of the Sky Lands and Taruq
This nation I believe at its height was the largest nation in the world.
Smallest Nation - Ashaylia
Right now I think they are the smallest nation.
Largest Army – Sky Gods
With over 20,000 troops I think they take the lead.
Largest Navy – Tereno
Quickly destroyed what was the strongest fleet of Neptanian replacing it with her own.
Most Aggressive – Sky Gods
Through the entire game they were looting and fighting wars. I think North King did not ever take a break from looting.
Least Aggressive – Kaldurraha’ Kieesta
They never declared war on a fellow nation. I would of given this to Hyoln but they declared war on the Vlakan on the last update
Most Evil – Bhato Fizcat
I gave this to Bhato Fizcat for being the only nation to commit genocide. In the end they failed but they killed half of Fizcat’s population.
Best Comeback – Sky Gods
Despite losing a war which would have made them an unchallengeable power in the cradle they still remain a power to be reckoned with.
Greatest Rise – Holy Bhatoist Empire of Neptanian
At its height it was the most influential power in the Great Sea only existing for a turn prior.
Greatest Fall – Maasla Kieesta
A strong power in the middle of cradle. They were well on their way to being just as strong as their neighbors until the hordes from the south came…
Most Unique – Fizcat
This small nation was out of the spotlight until they converted to a form of atheism. They are the only atheists people on the planet and with no religion it made them the focal point of the Bhatoists Crusades.
